PGIMS Rohtak: Best Educators and Education

Overall Rating
In PGIMS, Rohtak, I liked the institute’s education quality, fests, location, etc. I recommend this medical institute highly. Being a medical student, one needs to get more and more exposure to patients, which requirement is fulfilled very well here.
 

Academics Rating
I chose MBBS because it is a top medical course for becoming a doctor. I scored 654/720 in my NEET after which I was eligible for this institute, scoring above its cutoff. For admission, there is online counselling done, based on marks of NEET exam. Here, the patient load is very much, hence, we get more chances of applying academics in reality, thus making academics more better.
The fee for 5 years is Rs. 4,84,800. Hostel fee is Rs. 20,000 per year. However, no special discounts or scholarships are there for any category.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty members teaching us are doctors and professors, who take lectures everyday. They teach us via projector and PPTs. I really liked the faculty in this institute. I understand their lectures well. Also, faculty does help students in any problem outside studies in their life too, thus forming strong bond with each other. There is quality-teaching staff and practicals are there to make us apply the concepts taught in lectures.
 

Placement Rating
There is very high placement rate as anyone who gets a MBBS degree from PGIMS, gets placed definitely, as it is one of the renowned medical institutes, with all India NIRF ranking 17. Just after MBBS, you get job with a good salary of about Rs. 80,000 per month.
 

Hostel Rating
Institute does offer hostel facilities, which have a room for improvement, as they are not upto the mark. About mess, food is decent and average. Boys hostel is open throughout, but girls hostel closes at 8 PM.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure is not bad, some buildings are old but most are newly built now. Library, labs, auditorium, seminar hall, and canteen facilities are available. Students can also order anything and get that delivered to door immediately. Grounds are also there supporting physical health of students. I loved lab facility above all, there are new machines available and they are timely checked for any problems.
 

Campus Rating
Overall campus life is fun, as the institute is situated in the market, surrounded by clubs, cafes etc. There are many extracurricular activities organised by institute to improve student’s overall growth. I love to hangout with my friends around the institute also we can go to the ground to play any sport in evening. Fests are organised timely and an annual fest is the best of all fests.
