Reminiscing My College Days at JLN Ajmer

Overall Rating
Overall, JLN Ajmer is good and also new college construction is under progress. I chose it because I got in 635 marks in NEET. It seems to be better as compare to other college. Everything is same in every medical college The best thing of my college is the auditorium of my college because it is one of the top most auditorium as compare to other colleges in Rajasthan
 

Academics Rating
You must clear the NEET exam with a score of more than as per your category Admission process is very complicated, you need your documents. There are many practical classes. For every semester 3 to 4 exams are taken by college.
For general category, fee is Rs. 10,700 in first year only. After first year, some amount is deducted. If you belong to SC/ST class, then your fees is zero instead you get scholarship also
 

Faculty Rating
Teachers are very good they explain mostly by ppt slide. Background of faculty is also ok. Mostly in theory class, PPTs are discussed but also various group discussions occur. Faculty always available for solving our problems. For 250 students the faculty in each department is around 7 to 8 professors, one HoD.
 

Placement Rating
After 4.5 year of MBBS students have to do one-year mandatory internship. They pay us in internship around Rs. 21,000 every month.
 

Hostel Rating
The hostel facilities can be improved. The hostel fee is around Rs. 3,500 per month. I am not staying in hostel.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Campus is very old as it was built in 1965 but still looks ok. However, the new building of college is awesome. Library is open 24/7. It has air conditioner and Wi-Fi facility. Transportation is also offered.
 

Campus Rating
Overall, I am very happy that I studied in this college. Every MBBA batch has 250 students. Then are various student unions in the College. My experience is very good. I always miss my college days when I was new there. This is the best college for me. Sports activities and cultural programs is the best part of our college.

    Overall experience at this college is quite amazing. A lot of activities take place in this college. Study wise it is a good college. Basically I belong to Ajmer itself so my first preference was this college. Other than that my many friends came from a long distance to study in this college. It lies in the centre of the city.
