Sanjivani College for Engineering: Admission, Exams, and More

The reason for my admission in Sanjivani College of Engineering Kopargaon is due to more opportunities, more placement of the college and great campus along with a Gymkhana for sports and all. The infrastructure of the college and canteen food is good. However, not only that the teachers I encounter and other students were all sincere, had good knowledge and they knew what you need your future. Overall, it helped me improve myself; I had significant growth and improvement in last 3 years. In addition, not only with studies but there are other activities that we can participate like sports, Annual Gathering, other events.

My course in this college is Bachelor of Technology in which I have chosen Mechanical Engineering. This college is mostly known for Engineering in the whole district for its good performance and it is an Autonomous college which prepares it' own curriculum which helps in learning most recent trends out there in industries. As it is autonomous, the year wise curriculum, exam patterns, and project activities are flexible and it helps a lot. The admission process is simple. After your MHT-CET or JEE results, you can apply for this college for your interested field and after you are selected, you just need to fill the form and payment the fees. For Real-life challenges, here we are provided with Internship opportunities in our 8th sem, where you get early experience of industries and help your career.

The fees structure is divided by Cast, some Schemes from government like Tuition Fees Wavering Scheme (TFWS). For the open cast the full year fee is around Rs. 1.5 Lakh. For the OBC it is around Rs. 80,000 to 1,00,000. For NT and TFWS it is Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 25,000. For SC and ST it is around Rs. 8,000.

The faculty is grouped by Professors, Assistant professor, Lab Assistant and None Teaching Faculty. The professors are very experienced in their field and teaching with almost all having PhD. We have Digital Screens on which the teacher can present their pots and any other video, which is having digital whiteboard. We have very good labs equipped with new and industrialized Equipment for experiments. The teacher is teaching with fun and as a student, we also enjoy their teaching. They communicate and interact with students easily. When we conduct any events, teachers can also participate in those events along with students which helps make student teacher bond good. The teacher is always ready for any students query and helps them in case of difficulty.

The training and placement cell of Sanjivani College of Engineering Kopargaon is always trying to get better opportunity for students, like contacting other companies for placement drive. Also to make students ready for company placement drive and to make them Industry ready they made contract with Gryphon Aced my for Training students in soft skills, technical skills, and aptitude twice a year for session of about 20 days. The TnP cell also organises mock placement drives to get students to know the placement drive procedures and get them to know it better. Recently Juspay hired 3-student s with 27 LPA and other 3 students with 21 LPA package. The other companies include Tata Tech., Force Motors, Wipro, Infosys, etc. average packages is about 5 LPA with some students having International Internships, and job offers from Japan and Germany as we are also taught Japanese and Germany Language in the college under TnP cell.

The hostel is provided for student who lives farther from college. There are separate buildings for separate year students so the upper classmen would not bully underclassmen although bullying and Raging is rare in Sanjeevani but we also have a cell for that. The girl’s hostel and boy’s hostel are separate and some distance farther from boy’s hostel and no one except parents of girls are allowed in. There is mess available for hostel students and food is good with variety all allover the week. Provided two times a day and good hygiene. Hostel fees are 35K per year per person having to share a room with two more partners. Timings are from Morning 5 to evening 9 for boys and Morning 5 to evening 7 for girls.

The engineering section consists of total 3 buildings with more than 50 classrooms, and 20 labs. Each with sitting capacity of 80 students with some 6-step halls, 1 conference room with 2 ACs and 1 seminar hall equipped with 3 ACs. The building has Solar panels which uses green energy. It has 1 library with more than 100K books and you can borrow 6 books at once. The lab is equipped with good Computers and ACs, good and clean hallways. The toilet is cleaned twice a week and water cooler is cleaned once a week. The classrooms are equipped with projectors, which are slowed being replaced by digital boards. For sports, we have Gymkhana and big ground for sports like football and cricket and separate courts for lawn tennis, 2 basketball courts, 2 volleyball courts and 2 indoor badminton court. The Gymkhana is having multiple sports equipment, repair tools, and some accessories. I personally like the campus refreshing and calming because of multiple big trees surrounding it.

The campus life is very good and enjoyable with friends. With refreshing campus and other activates of clubs, events, and programs the stress of studies just lowers down. The college is crowd seems not to bother anyone as the campus is pretty big and other college from the institute has different time. The security is very tight in the college and no one enters the college without and ID card. In addition, there are guards at different location in entire college campus to ensure nothing bad happens.
