My Experience at B.K. Birla College

Overall Rating
My life at B.K Birla college is very nice. The campus is clean, peaceful, and full of trees. I choose this college because it supports student's talent. The canteen is also clean. Teachers are kind and helpful. There are three big clean buildings, a big library, a reading room, and small garden. The college is growing and developing fast. They always support us if we want to try something new or do something good in studies or other activities. That is why I like this college. I feel happy here, Others should join because it gives a good, safe place to study and grow.
 

Academics Rating
I chose Computer Science because I like learning about computers. Admission is based on your CGPA. The admission process is very easy and short. My course has 4 sums. From this year, BCA and MCA course are also available. This College helps us to get ready for real life.
CS course fee is Rs.43,000 per year, included all tuitions fees, admission and registration fees. The college also gives scholarships to students from reserved categories like SC, ST, and OBC as per government rule. There are no extra hidden charges. In addition, the students who are financially weak can get a special scholarship of Rs. 10,000 from the college. The process to the apply for scholarship is also easy, and college helps you with it. This makes the course more affordable for those who need financial help.
 

Faculty Rating
The CS faculty is amazing and very friendly. All teachers use PPTs for teaching and also tell us to do it practically on computers .Each stream has separate faculty. Teachers always help us with doubts. Our bonding with them is good and friendly. They are always ready to guide us. Almost all teachers are completed their PhD. Learning with them is fun and makes things easy to understand. Their way of teaching makes even tough topics simple and clear.
 

Placement Rating
Our college has a good placement cell. It shares internships and job details in WhatsApp groups for every stream students. Placement for Data Science and AI stream Students is best. Recently, the college arranged a job fair, and many students got placed. Big companies visit for hiring. The placement cell helps students to get ready for jobs through different programs and activities.
 

Hostel Rating
The college is planning to provide hostel facilities for students in future. Many students waiting for it. Once started, it will help students who come from far places. For now, students manage by staying in nearby rooms or PGs. College is working to make hostel available soon.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The college is spread over 20 acres in Kalyan. It has 72 classrooms, 50% are smart rooms, and one 3D studio. The campus is green with ETP, STP, and rainwater harvesting. There is a big IT-equipped library, auditorium, seminar, and conference hall. A new 55,000 sq. ft. building has new science labs and classrooms. I like the greenery and nature of the college campus. This year, 25 cycles were given to needy students as a green steps.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life at B.K Birla college is amazing. There are different clubs for each stream, and they organize many events and extra-curricular activities like seminars, Tech events, and sport events where students can take part and improve their skills. The college celebrates all major festivals with full joy and spirit. The crowd is friendly and helpful. These activities make college life fun and exciting. I enjoy being part of this lively and active campus every day. It is not just about studies but also about enjoying and growing with friends.
