KCG College of Technology was established in the year 1998 by Dr. KCG Verghese’s. It is a private educational institution that has received AICTE approval, and it is associated with Anna University, one of Chennai's top universities. The NAAC gives this institution an A+ rating. Undergraduate and post graduate programmes are offered by our institution. Because of how well-structured the courses are, you never experience any issues with them. From the fifth semester on, they offer an endless amount of support for placement and internships. In addition to this, you may sense your own personal development because there are clubs for everything from sports to culture.

There is entrance exam, the TNEA, a state exam, to be taken to get admitted to this institute's UG programme. You must pass this test with a high score. My B.E. degree is in computer science. I attempt this exam, scored 1124th place, and then got admission to KCG College of Technology through TNEA counselling. I joined this institute since it aids with projects, higher education, and employment. One of my brothers recommended I apply to this institute because it has the best and most experienced teachers. The course fee is very affordable for 4 year B.E course they take 50000 as admission fees and for B.Tech they take 55000 as admission fees which is very affordable.

Best teachers are at KCG. Faculty members are knowledgeable and unique in their fields. Since the majority of the lecturers are from reputable IT organisations, the most of them have 8 to 10 years of expertise in the sector. They encourage learning through practise as well, not only from books. Since we are from CS, they assist us with projects and programming. By submitting handwritten notes for the GATE exam since they were adequately prepared, The lab assistants assist with project-related tasks as well.

Every year, between 80% and 90% of students are hired by reputable companies. The placement cell faculty at our institute are excellent, thus it functions well. They offer assistance with placement in reputable companies like TCS, Virtusa, CTS, Gavs, Zoho, Accenture, and Infosys. The average package offered by our institute is approximately 4 LPA, whereas the highest package offered is approximately 28 LPA. After the end of the fifth semester, they provide internship support and placement support. They offer pre-placement training, a grooming class, and examinations that aid in interviews for students in their final year.

Both boys' and girls' hostel accommodations are offered. They offer various types of rooms, including deluxe rooms with air conditioning and four shared rooms. They offer both vegetarian and vegan options. There is a large hall where all students can eat simultaneously. Additionally, a hospitality service is offered around-the-clock. The hostel has clean floors and a quiet atmosphere. The best part is that we observe all holidays in our dorm, including Holi and Diwali. Regarding security, they installed CCTV and a 24-hour security facility.

The infrastructure at the institute is excellent. The campus covers 38 acres of land. Each building is independent of the others. Regarding the classrooms and laboratories, everything is well-kept and attractive. All kinds of equipment are available in the lab rooms, and some classrooms have air conditioning. There is a sizable library where you may find more than 40,000 books, journals, and study materials. There is only one cafeteria where you may get both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. There are also other sports facilities like horse riding track, basketball court, badminton court, and court for handball and volleyball.

Our college experience is joyful and happy since you never run into academic difficulties. Other than academic groups like Rotaract, English literary clubs, dancing clubs, music clubs, programming clubs, and others are available. Our institute holds annual sports and functions every winter. They also provide study sessions and picnics. Sports, extracurricular activities, and transportation are all offered. The institute never treats pupils unfairly. The faculty is quite helpful and offers all services in every way.
