Great academic excellence at Dharmashastra National Law University, Jabalpur

Overall Rating
Firstly, ours is one of the newest NLU as there is already one in Bhopal, MP and then ours came into existence in 2018 in Jabalpur, which is a tier-2 city and our University is also a tier -2 University, as per rankings but I would differ to that. Our events and life experience at the campus is better than many University, and for proof one can check out YouTube and Instagram. So since I am in my final year now, I can proudly say that I haven't missed out on anything. We were provided with better opportunities in terms of internships and moot court competitions.
 

Academics Rating
Academics of our University have set an example for other Universities as unlike other Universities where 50 lectures rule is fixed. At our University, we can have mid-internship sessions and we are allowed for the same. Many think that going to University is enough, but in Law it's not even basic. At our University, every high profile case is discussed and top Judges are invited for guest lectures and this is how academics work at our University.
With hostel the total fees is Rs. 2,60,000. For mess we have to pay separately as they are on contract basis.
 

Faculty Rating
Encounter with faculties in the morning sets up the tone for the day. They are probably the best as some faculties retired in last 3-4 years and all were given a warm send-off. I am honestly out of words as how to rate someone who are qualified and understand Law like no one else. All the misconceptions that I had regarding the Legal studies were cleared in just the first two semesters and it was our facilities that cleared those misconceptions.
 

Placement Rating
Unlike other Universities where they have day zero, we don't have such things but DNLU Conclave invites many Law firms. As of now only three batches have passed out from our campus and not many were placed through campus.
 

Hostel Rating
Even though we have sufficient rooms but at our University day scholars are not mandatorily asked to stay in the hostels. There are currently two boys hostels with nearly 600 student capacity and there is a girls’ hostel with half of the capacity.
 

Infrastructure Rating
As per general standards we are on the smaller-scale as area isn't much. One main block and hostel buildings. Hardly any sports activities in the open area as most students use that for walking. However apart from mess we have one cafeteria and a juice shop as well. Besides that few mandatory things which are required in every Law University like a moot court and a discussion room, we have all of them.
 

Campus Rating
Indeed for a small campus like ours, imagining a campus life like this was definitely not on the cards. We have freshers’ day and a promise night celebration at our campus. Prom videos of our University are running viral on social media. Our annual fest ‘Reva’ is as good as any University fest and our campus is close to main markets of Jabalpur.

    Dharmashastra National Law University is a growing NLU situated in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. It was established in 2018 under Madhya Pradesh National Law University Act, 2018.     Overall Rating
    Settled in the outskirts of Jabalpur it offers the advantage of the city as well as nature. Other than that the enthusiastic students and passionate young faculty are very accessible making the institution creation ground for diverse intellects.
