Christ University Delhi NCR Ghaziabad Invites Many MNCs for Placement

My overall experience at Christ University has been very amazing. I chose this University because it is globally known. It is among the top private Universities in India. I experienced a lot of things in just one year. I got to know about my talents and interest by joining certain comedies. This helps me figure out what I want, and it has been a great journey. if someone else is also looking for a good private university. I think this University is a very good option for you and its rules and discipline is what makes this University different from others.

I have chosen Bachelors of Commerce and I have enrolled in this course because I had the same course in 11thand 12th Standard and decided to continue with the same stream even for my higher studies. The requirements for admission aren’t as such. You just have to fill out the form and should have completed your studies till 12th Standard, and then you need to fill out their application form for their entrance exam, which takes place at assigned venue. After that you will get shortlisted for the interview round, and then the final list will be out for the admission, and then you will get a certain amount of time to pay the fees and go for the admission process to the campus.

The fees of my course is Rs. 1,86,000/- for the first three years but in the fourth year the fees is a bit high around Rs. 2,40,000/-. We have to pay the fees annually. They do charge around Rs. 5,000/- for security fees. The College also provides scholarships but only from second year only if the student meets the certain criteria in their percentage and attendance in first year.

The class teacher of my course is very talented and knowledgeable; he has a lot of accomplishments and awards in this field. The other faculty members are also understanding, approachable, and also very knowledgeable and good in their work. They all are from different backgrounds depending on the subject as we have vast variety of subjects. They teach us using PPTs, blackboards and sometimes even GD.

There is a very good placement cell at the university, which offers positions in the cell for students as well to work with the teachers and seniors in the placement cell. They have done a great job in the past years. They help in bringing good companies to campus during placement drive for students companies like Deloitte, EY, etc. have visited campus and even recruited students from different courses, but mainly from my course. The packages I will say are a bit average, but for B.Com students the package is above average. It that really depends on your capabilities and knowledge. I am going to be a second year student. I haven’t attendant the placement drive yet so I am not really sure how that goes, but what I’ve heard is that there are certain criteria for certain companies that you have to meet in order to sit for their interviews.

Yes there are 3 hostels, two for girls and one for the boys. There are no mess facilities available at the hostel you have to manage the food from local food places or University's mess. The hostels gate gets closed at 10 pm. I don’t really have much information because I live in a pg the information will be provided by the University at the time of admission.

There are two major blocks at Christ University Block A and B. The third block is under construction and soon to be completed. Campus is located in Marium Nagar, Ghaziabad Delhi. The infrastructure is amazing and very modern. There is a huge library with many different rooms available for different purposes. There are labs, seminar hall, auditorium and a mini auditorium too. My favorite is gazebo area and café coffee day located in the B block basement.

The campus life is full of new adventures and experiences. The people here are amazing whether they are peers or faculty members. There are many clubs for different activities like dance, music, drama and even course specialised clubs in management, finance, media, etc. I am a part of finance cell and SWO (student welfare office) and I was also a part of student council in the 1st semester. The University is known for its fests they conduct many fests. There was a auto expo which is conducted every year. My first year experience has been amazing.
