Christ University Delhi NCR Ghaziabad Offers Merit-Based Scholarships

I chose this University as I heard that the BBA course of Christ University Delhi NCR, Ghaziabad is good. One thing I especially like about this University is their focus on the holistic development of a student and how they focus on both the studies as well as the extracurricular activities. The infrastructure is great but the area is something to be concerned of as it is located in marium nagar, which is not one of the great colony of Ghaziabad. Students may commute through University bus and any other vehicle or they can stay in nearby PGs or hostels.

I am in 3rd year of BBA (Hons.) and I chose this because I always had an interest in business administration. To get in admission in this University, you need to give an entrance test and appear in interview at the campus. Usually in my course, first 4 semesters is to give you the idea of all the subjects including Finance, HR, Analytics, and some other soft skills. Getting a good idea about these subjects helps you to choose your major in the 3rd year.

The fee at the time when I joined for my course was Rs. 2,30,000/- for the whole year. Except that, the hostel fees for starts from around Rs. 95,000/- to Rs. 1,50,000/- depending on the hostel. Every student is eligible for academic scholarships if they score a good GPA and some special scholarships are available for the underprivileged as well who matches the criteria for the same.

The method of teaching although includes both blackboard teaching and PPTs. The faculties in my course are average and I would suggest that self-study is very important rather than depending on the method of teaching in the University. Overall, the analytics faculties are the best

Yes, there is a Placement Cell and a placement coordinator as well. For the placements, most of the roles you will get here will be of sales.

One of the best memories of my campus life will be the hostel,. For boys I would recommend joining the Christ Hall. There are around 250 students there and you get an option of both single & shared room. For girls I would recommend joining Christ Residence hall, you get an option of both single and double sharing. You need to do biometric every morning between 6 AM to 8 AM and every night between 10 PM to 10:30 PM. The wardens are very strictdiscipline so make sure you follow them.

University infrastructure is one of the best things about University. Although, they have a small area but still have good amount of facilities. There are 3 blocks in the University, which consists of 2 auditoriums, library, moot courts, seminar halls, conference hall, etc. They have one big cafeteria in A block and one rooftop cafeteria in B block, except that they also have outlets of Dominos and Giants Ice Cream in the campus.

Overall, the campus life is fine. The crowd is mostly of Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, and South India majorly. There are many clubs and committees. You must join them to, as it is an experience worth to remember. There is one major fest that is ‘Superegos’ and 2 other fests that are Darn and Blossoms. I was always a student balancing both my academics and extracurricular and I believe that is how you survive and actually enjoy your campus life here.
