The Highest Package of MIT Pune is About 62 LPA

My experience in this University till date is pretty good. I choose this University because it has a good placement record and a great campus.

I chose CSE department as this is the most trending and demanding course recently, entry criteria are pretty simple and easy. You have to provide JEE main scorecard of at least 60% or MHT-CET scorecard with 85%. They provide personal counselor to each student for their smooth admission experience. Exams are taken within the break of every 2 months and semester end exam takes place too. Academics are more focused on the theory rather than the practical part, this is the most important improvement needed in MIT Art, Design And Technology University.

The fees of this University are decent as compared to other Universities. The fees of my course are Rs. 2,90,000/- annually and it get increases by 7% per year. This includes tuitions, admission fees and other charges. If you will not provide any scorecard of any entrance exam, the University will charge you Rs. 3,00,000/- per year which makes it Rs. 1,50,000/- per semester. If you belong to Maharashtra then it will get reduce further significantly, like when you will show your family income less than Rs. 4,00,000/- then you will have to pay just Rs. 28,000/- per year. While the students of other states will not get this benefit.

Faculty members are well experienced and they teach us well also many faculty members are helpful except few. Many of them have done Ph.D in their respective field while some are head of big organisation at zonal level. There is a one professor who is a head of IEEE in Pune zone. Almost of them teach us with the help of blackboards and PPTs but maths professors always teach us on blackboard by writing everything which is helpful for us. The teacher and the student ratio are 1:18. I have maintained pretty good relations with almost all of them except the attendance faculty. Extra advice: maintain attendance and submit the assignments on time. Overall the faculty members are co-operative.

The placement rate is better as compared to the other Colleges. I don't know more about placement cell, but they always tries to bring best companies to our University like TCS, Capgemini, Wipro, and Mahindra which visits out University every year. Their goal is to help every student secure at least one package that’s why they try to connect students with these well known companies. The average package is 8 LPA and the highest is 62 LPA.

Yes, the University provide both on and off campus hostel facilities. I don’t have the idea about the number of rooms and facilities because I don’t live at the University hostel, but the mess food is good and hygienic which I personally tasted. They provide 3 times meal system. While I don’t know the timing and rules of the hostel but the fees is Rs. 1, 60,000/- which include both the hostel and the mess facilities.

This University have very beautiful and large campus, there is a very big dome built inside the University. We don't have books but if required we can borrow from the library. The library is big enough. The campus is beautifully spread across the size of 85 acres near the Mula Mutha river which flows just beside the campus. The campus is located at Loni Kalbhor near Pune main city. The classrooms are pretty big which has projectors as well but AC facilities are provided for few classrooms. The SOC auditorium is in making yet but the main auditorium is big, well maintained and well cushioned. The University also have many canteens and medical supports are provided 24/7 with ambulance facilities. The campus security is tight enough. My favorite part is the riverside area.

University life is pretty good in my University. Most of the crowd is good and well educated in design section. The SOC section crowd is also good. There are many clubs in our University from technical to drama, engagement activities are also organised on regular basis. Many events take place in the campus, fest like persona fest is the major fest celebrated. My experience at the fests is pretty memorable and there is too much fun for me as a fresher. Overall I am satisfied with my University.
