Aryabhatta College is One of the Prominent South Campus College of DU

Honestly, Aryabhatta College comes under South campus of DU. The moment I entered the campus I knew that this is where I belong. The faculty here is supportive and well qualified. Infrastructure is average. There are multiple cells and societies that you can be a part of which gives you the exposure that is required in your professional career and helps in an individual's overall development. There are seniors and faculty members who are there to guide you whenever required. There are multiple events going around in the college every other day which makes the campus life worth living. Here, you not only indulge yourself in academics but also live your college life that one should definitely do. From toppers to entrepreneurs and content creators, everyone is hustling which keeps your motivation high. At the end, I can say that this place has become my second home!

I have enrolled in Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) as I want to go for entrepreneurship in future. To enroll in this course, you need to appear for CUET conducted by NTA. For BMS, it is compulsory for you to appear for GT, English and Mathematics. There is a total of 6 semesters in this particular course and you can go for the next two semesters as well. Each semester you need to appear for a total of 7 papers. This course's academic structure gives you the insights of the real world as in how do we analyse the data or market our product, etc.

Year wise the fee that is to be paid by a general candidate is around Rs. 33,000/- and for each semester you need to pay Rs. 1,500/- approximately as the exam fee. There are no other charges that are to be paid by the student.

Each department have different faculty allotted. The faculty members at Aryabhatta College are well qualified, knowledgeable and helpful. Everyone's teaching method is different, some teach through PPTs, some teach via giving real world examples, some teach via giving assignments or class activities. One thing I can say for sure is the faculty members are approachable, if you are facing any issue regarding your academics or other parts as well, they are more than happy to help you throughout your college journey and even after that as well.

There is a placement cell in our college which helps students to secure placements in different firms, they also conduct different seminars and webinars to prepare the students for the interviews, helping make their CV, and preparing them for the corporate world.

As of now there are no hostel facilities provided by the college.

There are a total of two blocks in the college campus with well developed classrooms and corridors as well-lit. Seating capacity of one classroom is around 30-40 students. There is a library, an activity room, a seminar hall, a multipurpose hall and a conference room as well. There is a canteen and a utility center. The security check is good as no one can enter in the college apart from the college students. My favorite part of the campus is the lawn area; the lush green grass makes the place so lively and a perfect spot for those Instagram worthy pictures.

The campus life overall is fun as well as academically rich. The college crowd is nice enough. The seniors are helpful and supportive. There are multiple clubs as I have mentioned above. I am the part of Finance and investment cell and the departmental society of management studies. There are multiple activities organised by the college and a fest as well. Being a first year student, my journey as of now has been good. The college has helped me in my personal as well as professional growth.
