CMR Group of Institutions Hyderabad Offers Fee Concession to Special Category Students

This College is very good; it is among the top 20 Colleges in Hyderabad. I suggest other students to take admission in CMR Group of Institutions. There are many factors like internships, academics, sports, and hackathons, competitions and many guest lecturers conducted for students in this College which are might not be conducted in other Colleges.

I chose Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), and the motive is my interest towards the course and ease of placements in this course. You have to clear the EAPCET examination and get enough cutoff rank to get into this College. Mid exams are conducted after the start of 2 months of every semester and second mid exams are conducted after next 2 months, then consequently lab exams, and end semester exams are conducted. Students are more to be academic and other disciplines also encouraged by this College.

Fees structure of my course is Rs.1, 20,000/- annually which is just the tuition fees. For SC/ST students they will get full fee reimbursement, OBC/EWS students will get around Rs.35, 000/- of scholarship. Other category and general category students need to the full fees.

Faculty is very kind and very excellent in their respective field. They encourage student’s interests and passions and also support in making new innovations. The teachers guide them in hackathons, competitions etc. Almost every faculty is having M.Tech qualification, and most professors have done Ph.D. Teachers use both blackboards and PPTs and also indulge in group discussing sessions to enhance communication skills of the students. Faculty supports and helps a lot in preparing for exams, so that we get good academic and engineering knowledge about the course.

The campus consists 4 academic blocks. Block 1 is for 1st year students because they have common subjects for all courses. Block 2 & 4 are department blocks, each floor is dedicated to each department. Block 3 is for library which provides all the research papers and study resources to the students, and CEER department. They also have labs and seminar halls on each floor related to the respective departments. Canteen and cafeteria are also there in the campus. Sports ground is also very wide and open for all students to play.

My overall campus life is fun and helpful. The College is full of students at each place. Many social clubs run by students for students are there in the College. Students can join the clubs of their interest and showcase their talents. Many annual fests like Azura, Annual day, Fresher’s party are organised by the College.
