My View of Algappa Chettiar College of Engineering and Technology Karaikudi

Overall Rating
In Alagappa Chettiar College of Engineering and Technology, there are many opportunities and we can experience many things. Our College has good atmosphere and we have good faculties with good teaching skills and sports activities.
 

Academics Rating
You can take admission to our College through TNEA counseling and the students have to score above 165 in their cutoff. We have unit exam in each month and practical exam in end of the semester. Preparation for the exam is somewhat tough.
The fees structure in our College for per annum is around Rs. 15,000/-. We can get scholarship from our state and central Government. The fees are low as compared to other Colleges. We can get more cash rewards in competition. The tuition fee is Rs. 8,000/- and the exam fee is Rs. 2,500/- for each semester.
 

Faculty Rating
In our College the faculty members are good and have great experience in teaching. Most of the faculties are very friendly with students and give ideas about the project works.
 

Placement Rating
The College placement are good and many top companies visits our College and 90 % of students are getting placement in our College and top companies like Zoho, Ecom, L&T, and many others. Students placed with average of 5 LPA and we have a separate placement cell and training centre. In training centre they train students for jobs. In end of the 3rd year companies start to take placement.
 

Hostel Rating
Our hostel has an old building but it has a strong foundation. The Hostel fee is Rs. 25,000/-. The mess bill for month is Rs.1, 600/- to Rs. 1,800/-.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus has a good infrastructure. They have dispensary, canteen, library, labs, conference hall, and gym. The campus also has indoor game stadium.
 

Campus Rating
My overall campus life is good. I got experience in everything like studies, projects, and with faculties and friends. There are many clubs in our College like leo club, Rotaract club, fresher’s association club, music club, NSS, NCC and there is association for all departments. The College also organise extracurricular activities.
