My View of Ananthapuri Hospitals and Research Institute Thiruvananthapuram

Overall Rating
My overall experience at the institute is mesmerizing. If saying about the lab and hospital my college life is best because we get the best clinics to work in. In other Nursing institutions, they never always allow the students to treat the patients but in our institute, we do the job same as that of the nurses. So, we can be professionals when we graduate.
 

Academics Rating
I had chosen the B.Sc Nursing, course, which is a four-year course and after an interview, we can directly enter into the hospital we were studying on. I like to help people since childhood so I always wanted Nursing to be a career option. In the institute, there is merit admission, which is held through LBS site. And also, there is private admission which need more than ninety percentage marks in boards for admission. There are total three exams in one semester; two sectionals exams and a final university exam. We need to pass all these exams to get into next semesters.
The fee varies as how we got admission in the college. For a pro admission student, the fee will be Rs. 63,500 for merit quota students. For SC/ST, there is fee reduction that is of Rs. 1,000 for a year.
 

Faculty Rating
Our all faculties are highly educated and professional. Well-educated doctors or the teachers who hold doctorate degrees teach some subjects like Anatomy and Physiology. They are very well experienced and so they can help us in every situation. They have high problem solving ability. The faculties ensure that the knowledge they provide to their students is apt. We all have a friendly and powerful bond between our faculties.
 

Placement Rating
Our placement packages are good. For placement, there is college interview round and another hospital interview round. The maximum package given to a newbie is of Rs. 30,000. It increases according to the years of experience.
 

Hostel Rating
Our institute provides hostels, but only for women. The male students need to take a rented house outside the institute. My room consists of only one roommate and there is one attached bathroom with enough space. Mess food is of high quality and it is provided four times a day. I pay Rs. 3,000 a month as the hostel rent.
 

Infrastructure Rating
We have a good infrastructure and a better locality. The whole place is a neat and well-sanitized area. Hygiene is the foremost thing they make sure. There is a library and books related to medicine are available. There is seminar hall and foundation labs and other dummies, which we use to practice our procedures. In our hospital, there is a small space like a pond where many fishes are there. It gives a warm feeling to us so it is my favorite spot in the college.
 

Campus Rating
My overall campus life is above average. We have Red Ribbon club, and I am a member of it. They help to transport and collect blood for any emergencies. If any person needs blood transfusion immediately, we help them to gather it. There are many fests like Annual Fest, Cultural Fest, Sports Meet, etc. I have a good experience overall. I will recommend other students who loves Nursing to come to Ananthapuri Hospitals and Research Institute.
