Excellent Campus Life at SWEC Ranga Reddy

Overall Rating
I chose SWEC Ranga Reddy as it is one of the best women's Engineering Colleges (according to me), and also the safety, security and the environment of this College motivated me. Also there are very good placements from past 5 years. The faculty in this College is good.
 

Academics Rating
I'm doing Engineering in Computer Science. To secure a seat in CSE you must complete the 12th with PCM and also you have to write State Engineering entrance test which is EAPCET you have to secure the rank in the test according to the cutoff. In my course, they conduct weekly tests and also the course subjects have practical applications.
College fee depends on the department and for the CSE department its Rs. 1,10,000/- per year and bus fee will be Rs. 40,000/-.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty members are very experienced at teaching. They use PPTs, blackboard, and sometimes conduct group discussions and seminars for the students which promote the problem solving abilities and builds communication skills, etc. Teacher to student ratio is 1:67. Some of the faculty members are very good at teaching and they motivate us often. They are kind and approachable at any time. Some of the faculties have experience of 10 to 20 years.
 

Placement Rating
Placement cell is the best as they make us learn different languages and prepares us for the industry. SWEC Ranga Reddy also provides campus recruitment training.
 

Hostel Rating
College offers residential facilities and in single room there will be 6 members and 2 washrooms. The mess food is very hygienic and they provide food for 3 times which includes snacks at morning and evening times. Hostel fee is Rs. 1,20,000/- at present and provides secured environment.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There are 5 blocks in the campus which is spread across 25 acres of land, and they have spacious classrooms and a library where there are thousands of books available related to academics. Each branch has its own seminar halls and an auditorium. Canteen facility, sports, transport, medical help is also available at the campus and my favorite is the campus garden as it is full of greenery and flowers.
 

Campus Rating
My campus life is excellent and the crowd is decent and there are music, art, singing, dancing, and sport clubs available. I'm a part of singing club in the first year of my College but much preference is given to sports clubs. Also the College has an annual fest called ‘Vid Youth’ which lasts for 2 days and we can also participate in various cultural programs.

    Sridevi Women's Engineering College is one of the top engineering College in Telangana. SWEC is approved by the AICTE. There are placements in the top companies like Infosys, Wipro, IBM, Tech Mahindra, etc. Institution has nice laboratory facilities with all equipment. There is bus facility from the institute.
