I chose Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science branch because of the current demand and global scenario of the industry. One should score good marks in JEE Main or MHTCET to get admission in this College. Admission process was held by the CET Cell and the admission formalities at the College were student friendly. The College is currently affiliated to Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University, so the exam pattern is the one provided by the University. The scholarship is as per the government defined fees structure.

First of all the College takes Caution fees during the admission (which is around Rs. 6,000/-), that amount is deposited by the College for 4 years and returned to the candidate only if their behaviour is up to the mark at all academic hours. The tuition fees are waived as per the government guidelines, and TWS candidate have to pay bare minimum fees. Also, for female candidates, various schemes like Lila Poonawala Foundation are applicable so they get an additional waiver benefit for the College tuition fees.

Placement Rating

I would say there should be improvement in the communication between the placement cell and the students. Still, the cell is quite active and constantly puts on efforts to bring companies in campus. Many service based companies like Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Accenture, Cognizant, and Capgemini visit the campus every year. Sometimes product based companies like HP rarely visit the campus. The highest package offered is 8 LPA and the average package is 3.6 LPA. During my final year, there was recession, still Accenture, Cognizant and some training Institutes visited our campus for the placement drive.

Infrastructure Rating

PRMCEM Amravati is new as it was founded in 2009, so the infrastructure is fine and ample amount of facilities are available here. The labs are updated with latest equipment. There are 3 seminar halls, but not dedicated Auditoriums. Medical room is present. I especially like the central lawn because of its soothing environment. Digital classrooms are standard and the seating capacity in one class is around 70-80 students. The College has canteen, but I would say its food quality and taste is average, also there are limited food options available.

Campus Rating

I would say that the College campus is overall good. The crowd is generally students from Vidharbha region's towns and rural areas, so they are mostly disciplined towards the academics. When it comes to extracurricular activities, every year there's annual function where students can showcase their talent and skills apart from academics. During the course, many guest lectures and other activities (e.g. coding competitions, sports festival) are also organised. Overall the campus life is quite enjoyable.
