My Journey in NIPER Raebareli

Overall Rating
NIPER Raebareli is one of the top Institutes for pursuing a career in the field of research and development. Every individual's research work is appreciated in this Institute. The teaching faculties, academics, administrative staff, seniors, and personal supervisors all are very supportive. They organise various national level conferences inside and outside the Institute for personal growth and development.
 

Academics Rating
Admission in my Institute requires qualifying two national level exams called GPAT and NIPER JEE. By qualifying these exams I got admission in M.S in Pharmacy with Medicinal Chemistry subject. The admission process takes place online, followed by physical verification of documents. There are 2 semesters in this course, in each semester there will be 2 exams. The practical exams include laboratory practicals, viva voce, and seminar presentation. In 2nd year, there will be no theory exams. Students only need to submit the reports and the presentations on the basis of thesis.
For my course the fee was Rs. 53,000/- per semester including hostel fee. The fees have to be paid during the admission. The caution fee which is Rs. 27,000/- also need to be paid during the admission, which will be returned after the completion of the course. Discounts are also available for SC/ST students. A stipend of Rs. 12,400/- is provided to every student per month.
 

Faculty Rating
My department has 5 teachers. Each teacher has their own lab in the Institute. All the faculty members are well qualified and have done Ph.D and Post Doctorate level education. The teachers have industrial experience and expertise. They use various teaching method such as smart boards, PPTs, whiteboards as per the requirement of the subject. They conduct regular assignments and tests throughout the year. Faculties are always ready to help in all academic and non-academic problems. Students can visit them any time or contact via mails, messages, etc. The teachers are easily approachable.
 

Placement Rating
Placement is managed by one teacher from every department and student coordinators are also there. Placement training and mock interviews are conducted by the experts. Companies like Macleods, Troikaa, Hetero, and BDR visit our Institute. Packages lie between 3.5 LPA to 5.5 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
There are separate hostels for girls and the boys inside the campus. Each hostel has two floors with around 20 rooms on each floor. The quality of the mess food is fine. They provide 4 time meal system. The mess is common for all the students. The hostel closes at 9:30 PM and the entry to the hostel through main gate closes at 7 PM. I had an amazing experience in the hostel and got very supportive group of friends. Mess fees are separate varying from Rs. 3000/- to 4000/- per month.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus is located in Lucknow outskirts, in village named Bijnor. The main campus is under construction in Raebareli. Campus has common administrative and academic area. The AC facilities are there in all the classrooms. The campus also has labs, two seminars halls, and two animal houses. The Volleyball court, Badminton court, and cricket ground is also there. There is a doctor's office and medical room available in the Institute. Guards are their all the time, nobody can enter or leave the campus without permission. Library is the best part of the campus; it is well equipped with all types of technical instruments.
 

Campus Rating
Overall campus life at NIPER Raebareli is average. We are mostly busy in labs and projects. There are various societies such as nature, cultural, sports, educational, etc. The Institute also organise annual sports and cultural fests. Common events like Ganesh pooja, Garba, and Lohri are also celebrated. The students and faculty provide some minimum amount of contribution for these events. Campus life in this Institute is full of experiences and memories.
