Amity University Gwalior Offers Scholarship on a Merit Basis

It's been 2 years at Amity University Madhya Pradesh. The learning experience in this University is excellent. They will provide you solid academic support and the students don’t face any kind of problem here. This University provides real world experiences. Apart from the classes, the students get enough time to focus on other extracurricular activities. This University is a great place to build your network which will help you in future.

I chose this course because I always had an interest in Business, Marketing, and Entrepreneurship. The topics are relevant for entering in today's corporate world. There are regular presentations, group projects, and even live case studies which actually help us improve our confidence and communication skills. The exams are held twice per semester with the internal assignments as well.

The fee of BBA (Hons.) is around Rs. 70,000/- to Rs. 75,000/- per semester. The fee might sound a lot at first but when we compare it to the kind of facilities the University is providing, the fee is convenient. Some of my classmates also got scholarships on the merit basis. There are no other charges.

The faculty of ABS department (Amity Business School) at Amity University Gwalior is quite experienced and friendly with students. Most professors have strong academic background and with their Ph.D degrees which add a lot value during the lectures. The teaching methods include PPTs, GD, etc. These methods help in keeping the classroom environment student friendly and engaging. Most of the faculties are happy to explain the topics again, if students didn’t understood earlier. The teachers also conduct extra classes for students to solve their doubts. The faculty members of this University are approachable. I really appreciate how teachers help us balance our experience with academics and they also provide practical exposure.

I don’t have any experience about the placements because I am in my 2nd year. I have seen how serious the placements cell take things and work accordingly. They help students in profile building and conduct workshops for students to gain knowledge. They also invite guest from the MNCs for guest lectures. Some companies offer internships and also provide job offers to the students. The average packages for a fresher are around 3 LPA to 6 LPA.

The hostels are located inside the campus. There are separate hostels for girls and the boys. The rooms are either private or twin sharing with bed, study desk, Wi-Fi, etc. The food of the hostel is decent and hygienic. Sometimes the timing to enter in the hostels is strict. Overall, it is a good option if the student wants to stay near the University. I don't stay in a hostel myself but a lot of friends and classmates do.

The infrastructure of Amity University Gwalior is honestly one of the best things about the campus. It’s well organised, clean, and peaceful. The classrooms are modern and well equipped with all the necessities. The classrooms can accommodate more than 50 students. There are seminar halls, labs, and auditoriums where all the events, competitions, and guest lecturers takes place. The campus has separate common rooms for both girls and the boys. The sports area is well build and maintained.

Campus life at this University has been really exciting and full of fun. The crowd is diversified; we can meet a lot of people with different states and backgrounds. There are several clubs which are run by students. I have been part of many events and workshops. The events are so fun and engaging. The annual fest is actually very exciting here. The fest includes games, fashion shows, dance, concerts, DJ party, and many more. The events take place on regular basis.
