Good Campus Life at University Maharani College Jaipur

Overall Rating
You all must have heard so much about this prestigious University of Jaipur. This University is known for its excellence in every aspect whether it comes to sports or academics. It is a girls University. Getting an admission in this University is a great deal. It provide both private and regular options which means the students can go to the University regularly or they can also go just for giving the exams. Many students in this University come at the time of exams only.
 

Academics Rating
I chose Psychology as a major subject and I was a regular student. Since it is a practical subject we used to conduct all the tests and experiments in the lab. The admission process in University Maharani College is quiet easy. For admission, the students need to fill the admission form and wait for the merit list to come. If your name is not that list and you’re required to visit the College and submit the documents such as your class 10th and 12th Mark sheets, TC, Character certificate, etc. The exams are conducted semester wise and students need to fill the form for the same.
This is a Government College so the fee of this College is also less. The fee is different for every course. The fee of my course was Rs. 15,000/- for three years which means Rs. 5000/- per year. The fee is comparatively less for the students who belong to SC/ST and OBC.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members of University Maharani College are highly qualified. The faculty is approachable but you have to initiate first and ask doubts as it is not a school. They try to make the subject interesting. So learn to ask the doubts and focus more on self study. Overall, the faculty members are good.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, the College has placement cell. The placements are average so don’t rely on the College for it. Explore jobs by yourself and try to do internships as much as possible.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, the College provides hostel facilities to the students. The hostel is located inside the campus. There are two girls’ hostels such as Mother Teresa hostel and Annie Besant hostel. The mess food is up to the mark. The kitchen and lobby of the hostel is quiet hygienic. The gate opens at 5AM and gets closed in the evening. Every building has a warden who takes cares of the students and maintains the discipline. The rules of the hostel are strict. The guards are also present for the safety purposes.
 

Infrastructure Rating
University Maharani College has one for the best infrastructure. It is located in the C-scheme. The campus has an aesthetic vintage vibes surrounded by trees. There are three blocks such as Science block, Commerce block, and Humanities block. The Science block is newly constructed and has an amazing laboratory. There are different rooms such as Music room and Dance room. The College has a huge library with all kinds of books. The campus also has canteen and great sport facilities.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life at this College was average. I got several opportunities to represent myself in front of everyone. I represented this College in different dance competitions and conducted activities such as Synergia, Flashmobs, etc. There are various clubs in this College such as Dance club, Music club, Drama club, Photography club, and many more. The College celebrates various festivals such as Navratri, Rakhi, Diwali, and Holi. Various sports activities are also organised by the College.

    I was very interested in zoology section of biology and that's why I chose B.Sc zoology Hons. My overall experience was nice at the Institution. I think my knowledge about this particular subject increased and others should definitely go for it if they are interested in zoology.
