KIET Ghaziabad's KSOP Conference Hall can accommodate 300+ Students

Well, I got admitted in KIET Ghaziabad when it became an Autonomous Institute. This made this Institute different from the other nearby Institutions who are affiliated to AKTU. The academics here are good and it prepares the students for the real life challenges. They focus more on practical learning rather than theoretical learning. Also in terms of campus, it has all the facilities which a student requires. There are various clubs for the students which explore their interest. Overall, I find this Institute best in all the aspects.

I chose Bachelors of Technology. For admission, the students need to JEE or they can also take direct admission in this Institute. I got admitted through direct admission. In this process, I was required to give a test. On the basis of that, I got CSE. Three exams are held per semester such as Mid-term 1, Mid-term 2, and End semester Exams. All these exams decide our SGPA for the particular semester. The exams are also being conducted inside the campus which also helps UAE to see and evaluate our mistakes. Also, there are projects, practicals, presentations, and other activities being conducted to enhance students leaning. The syllabus is as per the latest industry trends.

The fee of KIET Ghaziabad is affordable as compared to other Institutions. For my course the fee is around Rs. 1,50,000/- per year. It changes every year. The scholarship is also provided to the students.

The faculty members of this Institute are very good. The teaching methods include PPTs, GD, etc. The Students are required to present their PPTs whenever required. Faculty is very friendly with the students. They solve all our doubts. Most of the teachers have done Masters or Ph.D in their respective fields. The problem solving abilities of the teachers are great. They explain the topics thoroughly and in a very understandable manner. So overall, my experience with the teachers is good.

Yes, the Institute has placement cell. The placement of this Institute is average. The placement cell has connections with several industries and it is expanding the overall placements. Many companies visit our campus for recruitment. The professional elective courses are also taught by the companies, who have tie up with our Institute. The students and teachers both are working hard for the placements and future growth.

Yes, KIET Ghaziabad provides hostel facilities to the students. I am a day scholar, so I don’t have much information about the hostels but as much I have heard the hostel is good and a medical centre is also available for the hostellers.

The Infrastructure of this Institute is very good. All the classrooms are equipped with ACs, smart boards, and benches which also has charging ports. Over 300 Students can sit at KSOP Conference Hall in the Institute.This helps students to charge their laptops and other devices. There are many cafeterias available all around the campus. The campus has good sports facilities such as Football ground, Basketball court, Cricket ground, Tennis court, Badminton court, Volleyball ball ground, Kabaddi ground, and many others. All the grounds are very spacious which I found very good.

My campus life so far is pretty good. I see students rush towards their classes and for their work here and there. The campus crowd is huge. There are several clubs for the students such as Robotics club, Competitive Programming, Music, Dance club, etc. Once you get in, you'll explore everything during the SIP which is conducted for every first year students. They also organises various cultural activities for the students.
