Faculties & Facilities in KIET Group of Institutions Ghaziabad

Overall Rating
According to me, pursuing B.Tech from KIET Group of Institutions is a great option with a great return on investment. It is highly considerable as it has a great and a passionate crowd. The Institute provides the students with a lot of opportunities in cultural and academic aspects. The campus life here is pretty fun and interactive. It has good sports facilities too. Cultural events are also great. The only drawback I've noticed is its location which is 13 kilometers away from the nearest metro station which makes it tough to commute.
 

Academics Rating
I am pursuing my B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering, which is one of the top branches, offered by this Institute. Since last year the Institute is autonomous, and has updated its curriculum to make it more advance and up to the mark, we get to learn various things like, front end development, python and more. The cutoff closing rank for CSE is above 1,20,000 in JEE Main and nearly above 95% of aggregate marks in PCM is required to get direct admission through 12th board.
The yearly fee for my course is approximately Rs. 1,44,000/- inclusive of everything. So according to me, the fees charged by the Institute have great return on investment and is decent considering the facilities and opportunities offered by the Institution. There is a scholarship based on annual income of family up to Rs. 60,000/- or you can opt for a few waiver seat which generally have a higher cut off.
 

Faculty Rating
Most of the faculty members here are skilled and knowledgeable. The teachers are very helpful and due to the new autonomous system, the teachers have also started taking remedial classes. The teachers here also help the gradual learners to clear their backlogs.
 

Placement Rating
The placement percentage was pretty decent this year. It was nearly about 85% in my branch and they also organise placement preparation classes at the end of third year, which are optional. The highest package was 45 LPA this year.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostels are pretty decent with nice food. And the hostel fees is around Rs. 1,10,000/- per year. The only problem that I faced there was the water quality, which was quite manageable too. It is a considerable option but the hostel capacity is less as compared to the student intake. There is a high competition in getting a hostel so if you are considering this Institute and want to reside in a hostel then book it on time. The intime for the hostel is 8 PM for the first year students while it is 9:30 PM for the senior students.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure is pretty good as it has all the basic amenities required .They also have a well-managed campus with proper utilisation of space. Despite the small campus, it offers various amenities to the students like, canteen, medical, sports, etc. They have a good auditorium and a spacious library and self study areas too, all the classes are well built and air conditioned. They have great labs and other facilities. To summarise, it has a modern and optimal infrastructure with all the classrooms having the facility of smart boards which helps us visualise and understand the topics well.
 

Campus Rating
According to me, the campus life at KIET Group of Institutions is the best part that attracts me the most and gives this Institute an edge over other Institutions. The clubs here are very much active and the sports facilities are outstanding too. Most of the tech clubs organises major events throughout the year. It has a Inter-Institute sports event named 'Rann' in which over 50+ Institutions participate in different sports and it has a major cultural fest named 'Epoque' which is of 3 days which adds to the fun of the campus life here.

    Well, I got admitted in KIET Ghaziabad when it became an Autonomous Institute. This made this Institute different from the other nearby Institutions who are affiliated to AKTU. The academics here are good and it prepares the students for the real life challenges. They focus more on practical learning rather than theoretical learning.     My experience at KIET Group of institutions, has been like a roller coaster ride. Sometimes you will enjoy hanging with friends while sometimes you may feel overwhelmed by assignments. But overall, you will enjoy your institute life here. The faculties, facilities and infrastructure all are good. From the day this institute became autonomous, the things have been even better.     Overall KIET Ghaziabad Group of institutions offers well-balanced education, with practical based leaning, and hands on experience. It has good infrastructure with very good quality of Wi-Fi network every in whole campus. Cafeteria and canteen food is edible and good enough. Placement records are much better.
