TAPMI Bangalore: Views of a Sophomore

Overall Rating
I was in a lot of confusion and contradictions until I joined TAPMI Bangalore. Since, I was from science background but I only had one wish and that was to be an Engineer but I couldn't do much there as in JEE, I scored peanuts. I learnt about this institute BBA (Hons.) program and they accepted my JEE scores. As soon as I joined this institute, the best experience that I have had is discipline.
 

Academics Rating
I wanted to be a part of is how TAPMI Bangalore happened to me. I was always a loner and therefore I chose this Institute, as even though it is cited in Bengaluru our Institute is located in one of the most remote locations of the city. Academics here are so strong that even though I came from Science background all the concepts of management studies were ingrained in my head in the first semester itself.
Last year I paid Rs. 3,75,000/- and this year it is Rs. 3,80,000/-. Education loan is easily available from banks and financial institutions if one is enrolled here as everyone knows that ROI from here is such that even though fees is high, money will still be recovered soon after graduating from here.
 

Faculty Rating
All our professors are from IIMs, JBIMS, and Symbiosis course. Therefore, being a part of that successful Institute they bring the teaching standard, which in an otherwise not so renowned Institute looks glum. They teach us exactly the same way MBA students are taught, as our program is almost half of what MBA students study in their program. Our faculties have taught us to keep the options open and dig in time in whatever we are studying. In one year, they have given us the assurance that no doubts will be left unsolved and this is the biggest thing that they bring to the table.
 

Placement Rating
Most students who study from here have plans of studying in abroad for masters but out of a total batch of 300, if 150 applied for placement. Placement rate of my course is 80%. Many students re placed in companies like JP Morgan, HSBC Bank, ICICI Bank, and HDFC Bank to name some.
 

Hostel Rating
Currently, there are two girls’ hostels at our campus and it has only double sharing room options. Hostels are common for all the 5-6 Institutes that our campus has. The fees is Rs. 2,15,000/- a year for double sharing AC rooms and in that four meals and laundry service is included.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus is huge and at least academic buildings of all the Institutes. A lot of infrastructure is still under construction but classrooms are the best part of our campus as studies are done. Apart from that, we have endless facilities like an around 20 sports, each building with a cafeteria and 6 other common cafeterias as well.
 

Campus Rating
Institute has its fests along with departmental fests. ‘Atharva’ is a grand event not just in status but best in class as well. Therefore, campus life at the end will leave me as a polished and finished product.

    It's just 4 months so far for me at TAPMI Bangalore and I consider myself fortunate enough to be studying here. Me and my twin sister had a pact that no matter what, we will study in the same Institute and this was our first priority and happy to be here.     Being a student at this Institute makes you special on its own. Main reason choosing this Institute is it support for holistic development, the highly educated faculty, and it is almost the living industrial experience though we have a very hectic curriculum, but at the end, you are equivalent to an MBA graduate.     Overall experience at TAPMI Bangalore includes a lot of interesting projects and talking with business professionals.     Overall Rating
    I went to various Institutes but I find this Institute best. It offers various courses which are aligned with industry goals and sustainability. The Institute also offers advanced research in Business and Entrepreneurship skill building. Overall, it is a great Institute. Online software platform are available for teaching purposes. The guest speakers are also invited so that they can share their experience to the students and interact with them.... Read Full Review
