Sangola College Solapur Offers Admission by SANG-CET Entrance Exam

Studying at Sangola College Solapur has been really a good experience for me. Over the years I have learned a lot not just through books, but also through the overall atmosphere and the people around me. The teachers here are quite helpful and easy to talk to. They teach well and also guide you whenever you get stuck on any problem. One of the main reasons I choose this College is that it is well-known for its education quality.

I choose Bachelor of Computer Science at this College. The bright future of IT industry lured me towards to this course. The eligibility criteria for taking admission at this College for my course is that you should have an academic background of Science stream in class 12th. Thereafter, you have to appear for SANG-CET. The College then publishes merit lists as per the scores of students. If a student makes it to that list, they become eligible to take admission there. The exams here are conducted in a semester wise manner; there are total six semesters in a 3 year course.

The fees for first year is approximately Rs. 7000/- and for second year, it is around Rs. 8000/- and for 3rd year of my degree it is approximately Rs. 9000/-. The tuition fee is included in the total fee structure which is approximately Rs. 5000/- and students also have to pay exam form fee which is around Rs. 500/-. The fee is different for different category students. Also various scholarships are available for them.

The principle of our College is Dr. Bhosale sir and HOD of our department is Dr. Tathe sir. The College provides us with well educated teachers who have an experience of more than 10-12 years. Some teachers are Ph.D holders in our course. The faculty of our College is very nice and supportive. They try their best to help the students with their doubts and they are easily approachable.

Placement head of our College is Patil sir and he is very experienced. They conduct many sessions during and before the placement season. In such session, details are given to us pre-placements. Also the College conducts various aptitude tests before the placement. Big companies like TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, Infosys, etc. visits our College every year and the average package offered by these companies to the students generally ranges around 3 LPA to 4 LPA.

College is spread on a wide area of land. The building has 2 floors. On the ground floor, there are classes for Botany and Science students. On the first floor, computer labs and Computer Science classes are placed. The maximum seating capacity of a classroom is about 45 to 50. Moreover, the learning is facilitated by projectors. Also there is a well-equipped library having more than 5000 books. We have around 9 computer labs with nearly 20 computers in each lab. The auditorium hall is huge and is present on the 2nd floor where big events take place. Also, a huge sports ground is available. Our College also offers transport facilities to the students.

Overall, the campus life is good. If you take admission at this College, then you will; able to build skills that will help you pursue a bright future. Every year College holds an annual function in which various activities and sports events are organised. On the last day of the annual function there is a dance competition too which happens to be my favorite part of the fest. There are coding competitions too which includes blind code and web designing. Apart from this, there are many other competitions organised by the College every now and then. I am very grateful that I have completed my graduation from Sangola College Solapur.
