DAIMSR Nagpur is a Value for Money College

Overall Rating
I chose Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Management Studies and Research because it is one of the most renowned in Nagpur for BBA, B.Com, and BCA. It has always been a very reputed college with a widespread alumni network in every domain.
 

Academics Rating
I chose to do a degree in Bachelor of Business Administration with a specialisation in Marketing. We had one main exam every alternate semester that was conducted in the college and the other alternate semesters had a completely common university exam. The entry-level criterion at my time was just a good score in 12th Standard but now students also need to give the CET exam. I chose to study this course because it would give me a solid base for doing an MBA later in life.
The fee structure was honestly very affordable & it is a value for money college, especially for SC category students, the fees in less than Rs. 1000/- per semester. For a general category student it is around Rs. 40,000/- per year which is very affordable.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members at Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Management Studies and Research, Nagpur were very friendly and approachable. They taught using PPTs to help students get a better understanding. Some of them went extra mile and motivated us to write research papers and solve our doubts after class too. Overall, the teaching staff can be improved.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure of Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Management Studies and Research, Nagpur is average. The classrooms are big. They could fit around 100 students at once. We had a canteen too, which for me was not upto the mark. We had a library and could issue books free. The collection of books was mostly academic. The labs were decent. It had good computers and a projector too.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life could be really fun for you if you took an active part in things. We had an Environment club, a Magazine club, and a couple of CSR related clubs. I was a part of the Magazine club. There are 2 to 3 annual events, which include a cultural week, which has different days like Bollywood day, Corporate day, Quiz competitions, PPT presentations, etc. The crowd could have been much better.
