What Every Student Should Know About CEA Pathanamthitta

Overall Rating
Our College is normal like any other College in Kerala. The campus is small but vibrant especially during Onam, Christmas, etc. The fee is also affordable and the location is also good. It offers a wide range of courses to the students. This College maintains a balance between the academics and the extracurricular activities. Overall, the environment of this College is very peaceful.
 

Academics Rating
I chose B.Tech in CEA Pathanamthitta because I see a future in this course. For admission, the students need to have PCM in their HSC. The selection is based on KEAM ranking. After the selection, you need to submit the required documents. Each semester has 2 internal and one end semester exam. The semester exam also include lab assessments, assignments, etc.
The tuition fee of my course in this College is Rs. 40,000/- per year. For the students who got the admission through management quota, they need to pay Rs. 65,000/- per year. The Government provides scholarship to the students who belong to SC/ST or OBC category.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members of CEA Pathanamthitta are well educated. They have done M.Tech or Ph.D in their respective field. They have diverse educational background. The teaching methods includes blackboard, PPTs, lab demonstration, etc. They also encourage group decision and make the session more interactive. Most of the faculty members are approachable. The faculty members guide us very well and solve our all the doubts.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, the College has placement cell. The placement cell is not up to the mark only 3 to 4 students got placed last year.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, the College provides separate residential facilities to girls and the boys. Each hostel has around 40 rooms. The mess is very hygienic and provides healthy food to the students.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure of the College is good. There are mainly two blocks such as main block and mechanical block. Each classroom can accommodate 60 students. The campus has library with all kinds of books, lab facilities, seminar hall, auditorium, etc. The College also has sports facilities and transport facilities.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life till now is good. The CEA Pathanamthitta has active student organisation. They conduct technical talk, workshops, competitions, etc. I am a part of the IEEE. The College also conducts various events related to the sports and arts. It also conducts an annual fest called Satwa.
