Exploring Campus Life in SDMIT Ujire

Overall Rating
Overall, the SDMIT Ujire is good. This Institute provides good knowledge and help in overall development. The Institute has good teachers and I have also made some friends here. I would like to thank everyone who has been a part of my journey in this Institute.
 

Academics Rating
I chose Bachelor of Engineering. For admission, the students need to qualify KCET exam. The admission process is very simple. The exams are held strictly which also includes the internal exams. The academics are good and prepare us for the real life challenges.
The fee of my course in SDMIT Ujire is Rs. 98,000/-. My fee is around Rs. 30,000/- because I belong to SNQ seat. The scholarship is also provided by the Institute.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members are very good and experienced. They provide proper notes. The teaching methods include PPTs, group discussion, etc. They also enhance our soft skills. The problem solving abilities of the faculty members are good. The teacher to student ratio is 30:1000. My bonding with the teachers is good. The faculty members are approachable as well.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, the Institute has placement cell. Around 80% of students got placed last year. The package offered was around 6 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, the Institute provides hostel facilities to the students. There are separate hostel for girls and the boys. The wardens are good and take care of the all the students. The quality of the mess food is good.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus of SDMIT Ujire is huge. The classrooms are spacious and each classroom can accommodate more than 80 students. The campus has well maintained labs, seminar hall, and a gym. The canteen and medical facilities is also available at the campus. Overall, the infrastructure is average.
 

Campus Rating
Till now, my campus life is good. The campus crowd is average. There are several clubs such as Redcross, English club, etc. I am also a part of this club. The Institute conducts an annual fest. The Institute focuses more on academics then the fests. I wish in future it conduct more cultural fests for the students.
