My experience at CMRTC Hyderabad has been a mix of good and average moments. The campus has decent infrastructure and there are good and supportive faculty members. But there are areas that could improve like placement opportunities and extracurricular activities. The learning environment is okay, but there is still room for improvements in terms of better academic exposure and industry connections.

The course chosen by me was Computer Science Engineering because of my keen interest in programming, software development and technology. The eligibility criterion to get admission here is through the EAMCET exam, and I secured a seat in this College based on my rank. The course covers subjects like programming languages, database and networking. Exams are conducted regularly, which helps us keep a track of the syllabus. The academics provide a basic foundation, but more practical exposure and industry-oriented training would make it better.

The fee structure for my course is affordable and is inclusive of the tuition and examination fee. In the first year of my College, I had to pay for admission and registration charges. The fees are payable semester-wise or annually, depending on the students preferences .There are certain scholarship available for the students who are qualified under certain government schemes or belong to reserved categories, which helps us to reduce the financial burden.

The faculty members of my department are knowledgeable in their respective subjects and come from varied academics backgrounds. Some professors have industrial experiences, while others have a strong background in research and teaching. They use us a mix of traditional and modern methods to teach including blackboard and power point presentations to explains the concepts. The teacher student ratio is reasonable which allows for the doubts and clarifications during classes. Faculty members are approachable and willing to help even beyond the classrooms. While some teaching styles are engaging, others can be more theoretical, so more practical examples could improve understanding.

CMRTC Hyderabad has a placement cell that organises recruitment drives, workshops and training sessions for the students. Some companies visit the campus for hiring; mainly IT and service based firms along with a few core companies. So, the highest package of the College is 45 LPA. Placements opportunities are better for students who have strong technical and communication skills. The placement cell can also work towards providing soft skill training and mock interviews to help the students prepare. However, if the College work towards creating more core industry connections, it would come off as beneficial to the students.

Yes, the College offers hostel facilities to the students. The hostel rooms are well-ventilated and each room is equipped with basic amenities that students required. Wardens are assigned for respective floors; they ensure the safety of the hostellers. Apart from that, we get laundry services, common rooms, and more. The College hostel is better than the accommodation facilities provided outside the College. Moreover, the food quality is decent too.

The infrastructure of the College is decent. There are various blocks inside the College, with each block dedicated for some or the other department. We have infrastructural amenities like auditorium, library, etc. There are several labs too which facilitate the academic experience of the students. But, there are times when the systems at the computer lab do not work well.

The campus life is too good. The College has a great crowd in my opinion. I became friends with people in the first few days of College itself. Being around the quality crowd at this College, I was able to able improve my communication skills. There are various extracurricular activities that are conducted throughout the year which makes the College life here, even more interesting and fun.
