Vibrant Campus Life in Tula's Institute Dehradun

Overall Rating
Tula’s Institute Dehradun provides various courses. The first and foremost reason to choose this Institute was definitely its affordable fee structure. I am from Patna and choosing this Institute to pursue my bachelor’s from has been one of the best decisions I have made so far. There are many out-station students studying at the Institute. The students are very friendly to each other here, which make it easier to adapt to the life here.
 

Academics Rating
Our academic curriculum is industry-oriented and equips students with the required skills. The course I choose to pursue is B.Tech in CSE. I choose this course for its industry relevance and the job opportunities provided. The students should have passed 10+2 with compulsory subjects like Physics, Chemistry and Maths. Moreover, the students should obtain 45%+ in Class 12th board exam to get admission at this Institute. It is affiliated with Uttarakhand Technical University (UTU) and therefore is a Government recognised Institute.
The fee for my course at this Institute is Rs. 1,60,000/- per annum. Girl students get 10% discounts if they have 8.2+ CGPA and 15% discounts if they have over 8.7 CGPA.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members at our Institute are very friendly. The teachers have excellent management and teaching skills. They come from a rich academic background and have a great hold over their respective subjects. Their teaching methods are inclusive of ample use of PPTs and blackboards, but they also employ real-life examples to help the students understand the complex topics.
 

Placement Rating
Our Institute has become a hub for many private tech companies like Wipro, Oracle and others. They have hired over 100 students in 2024-25. The highest package was 30+ LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
There are two off-campus girls’ hostels and the boys hostels are inside the campus. The in-time for girls is 9 PM, while for boys it is 9:30 PM. The rooms are good and the hostels are also quite luxurious. The charges for non-AC rooms are Rs. 1,15,000/- per annum including the mess charges.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus of Tula's Institute Dehradun is huge and has numerous buildings. The department of my course is different from the rest as it is the largest building of the campus and has its own library, recreation room and seminar hall. Most of our events and guest lecturers happen there and outdoors facilities like amphitheatre and sports grounds are common which are shared by the Management and the Engineering students.
 

Campus Rating
Students can get ample opportunities as there are hackathons conducted twice a year. Our Institute supports us to participate in various hackathons all across the country. Our tech fest ‘Utkrisht’ had over 90 Institutes participating in it and it was an experience of a lifetime. In 2024, on the graduation honours day, Chetan Bhagat Sir (renowned author and actor) was invited as a chief guest and our annual fest ‘Sanskriti’ too has witnessed some celebrities. These experiences have made my life at this Institute even more interesting and engaging.

    Our Institute is affiliated to UTU, where great attention is given to studies and attendance. We have Engineering And Management Institute within the campus so there is a huge crowd of students studying here. When you study here, you automatically become a part of a wonderful young student group which is actively involved in various activities such as managing events.
