At least 65% marks in Class 12th for B.Tech at SGU Bhopal

I had a nice experience till now at the University. Students don't have tremendous study load , so they can engage in a lot of extracurricular activities. The environment is supportive and full of friendly people. Students will definitely feel good here. I choose B.Tech here in SGU Bhopal. The eligibility criterion is that you need to pass Class 12th with at least 65% marks. For admissions in the University, you need to apply through their official website and the rest will be taken care of by the University. The exams are moderately tough and offer a great learning experience. The academics here prepare you as per the demands of the industry.

The total fee of University is about Rs. 45,000/- per semester with compulsory bus charge of around Rs. 16,000/- per year. Students also get scholarships based on merit.

The faculty members of our course are friendly and helpful. They support you at every level. They try to solve the doubts of each student. The faculty members have industry-level experience and exposure and some of them have even been Engineers. The student teacher ratio is about 50:1 which is quite good. They teach you well and try instilling the students with hands-on experience. They organise workshops on different topics where you get to learn about the current trends and the demands of companies.

The placement cell is active in our University. They train students by conducting soft skills and aptitude classes from first semester onwards. These classes are there to ensure that the students do not face any kind of difficulty at the time of their interview and exam of companies. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, and others visit our University to hire students.

The Campus is lush green and you can spend hours admiring the natural beauty of the infrastructure. It is located outside the city and the campus size is large. Our University also has a hospital to provide medical facilities to the students. There are also facilities for many sports. Since, it is located outside the city; transport facilities are also present at affordable rates. The security is everywhere and you cannot move outside without permission. There is also a huge auditorium where many events take place.

The campus life at SGU Bhopal is lively and would make you very happy. I enjoyed a lot at the University premises. The classes we bunk to just sit around and have fun would always be one of the best memories that I would hold. The crowd at the University is also limited. There are celebrations of various festivals. The dandiya / garba night is my most favorite. There are also DJ nights held where renowned singers are invited to perform. Till now, I had a great campus life experience. Clubs are also there to promote extracurricular activities on-campus among students. There are also various events held like ‘SAM Shrestha’- the annual cultural and technical fest.
