Fees, Faculties, & Faculty at BPIT New Delhi

Overall Rating
The Institute is not very big but has various labs for different subjects that help students put their theoretical knowledge to practical use. The Institute’s location is great and with ample of things to do around in leisure time. Most of the faculty members are very helping.
 

Academics Rating
I wanted to pursue either Computer Science or Information Technology. I got a rank of 1,40,000 in JEE Main exam. I was eligible for IPU counselling. I got BPIT New Delhi in the same. So, for admission here, you will be required to fill the form of IPU counseling and select your preferred Institutes. Then according to your cut-offs, you will be allotted an Institute. There are around 3 rounds of counseling and incase of availability of seats, there can be a spot round too. Once, this process is completed and you get the Institute allotted, you can pay the fee and get your documents verified at the Institute.
The fees structure is a bit complex to understand. But, the first year students have to pay an amount of around Rs. 60,000/- to lock the Institute at the time of counseling. Paying this fee will give you admission on provisional basis. Then, before document verification at the Institute, students are required to pay around Rs. 1,17,900/-. The fee for second year of my course is around Rs. 1,57,900/- which remains the same for third and fourth year.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties are generally nice except some. Most of them are of helping nature. They not only help the students in academics but also help to address their confusion regarding what field to choose by educating them about various options available. There are also many lab assistants which guide you through it all when in lab classes. The only thing that I believe is missing is the presence of a sports teacher. The Principal of our College is also very nice.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, there is an active placement cell which helps the students get a placement in the final year of their degrees. Students scoring above and below 8 CGPA are separated and offered placements in accordance with their grades throughout their degree. Companies like Juspay, Accenture, and others are invited.
 

Hostel Rating
There are no hostels for boys. There is one hostel for girls and the fee charged for the same is around Rs. 48,000/- for a semester. The mess at the Institute’s hostel serves meals to the students 4 times a day with the food quality being average.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus is spread on area of more than 5 acres and is located at a good location. There are places nearby to explore like malls and shopping complexes. There is a fully air-conditioned library at the Institute offering a comfortable environment to study in. The classrooms are big and can easily fit 60 to 70 students at a time. There is an auditorium for cultural and other events to take place. There is also a big ground in the Institute where students can indulge in sports like Cricket, Soccer, Basketball, Volleyball, and more.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is good. The students at the Institute are also generally great. There are many technical and non-technical clubs like Namespace, Hash Define, Drishti, Octave, etc. Societies in BPIT New Delhi allow the students to explore their interests and also add to their personality development.
