Know All About SBUP Pune

Overall Rating
SBUP Pune like every other University has positive and negative aspects to it, but, so far, it has been absolutely good for me. Our campus offers a great campus life. The curriculum here is relevant to the current trends. The placement ratio was high last year. The fests of the University are good too.
 

Academics Rating
Academics here are structured and might feel overwhelming at times. The first two semesters ensure to lay a strong foundation in students by covering the required details that students might require in the upcoming semesters. Each subject is taught in detail and we have 5 subjects only in our curriculum which allows us to give equal attention to each of them.
The fee for my course at the University is around Rs. 95,000/- per year and since I qualified for Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Scholarship I get 25% scholarship on my fees.
 

Faculty Rating
We have faculties who are highly qualified and have all the virtues that make them the best in their respective subjects. The University is very particular about choosing good faculty members. All the teachers at the University are very humble towards the students. Their teaching method is also very nice and each of them is so amazing that even a mandatory attendance of 45 lectures per subject each semester never looks more.
 

Placement Rating
My course at the University has recently been started. But, companies like Emami, Colgate and other dominant companies hire majority of students.
 

Hostel Rating
There are residential facilities for both male and female students. Students belonging to Pune district are not permitted to stay at the hostel premises.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Our campus spacious and we have a swimming pool at our campus as well. There are two gyms and one is specifically for girls. We have a sports ground with Football posts and a Cricket pitch. We have a cafeteria and a coffee shop at our campus and therefore, there are large buildings at the campus where our classes are held. There are two auditoriums at the University. One thing that I like the most about the University is the lakeside view it offers. It is very admirable.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is what makes SBUP Pune exceptional in my opinion. The two main events are ‘Utsah’ and ‘Dhristi’. They are held in even and odd semester every year. Besides that, as practical knowledge is given more importance, an event named ‘Josh’ is also hosted which is full of activities. One suggestion on my part would be to maintain a healthy balance between academics and extracurricular activities since out of 60 lectures per semester for each subject, it is mandatory to at least attend 45.
