NCC Karimganj is affiliated to Assam University

I had the privilege of pursuing a course at Nabin Chandra College Karimganj and my overall experience has been enriching and memorable. It is located almost 60+ kilometers from my residence so I decided to stay in a rental house for my convenience. This made my daily routine smooth and allowed me to devote more time to academics and other activities. Over the years, I have heard a lot of positive reviews from relatives who studied here. The welcoming environment and quality faculty will eventually help you adapt to the College life here.

I chose B.Sc in Physics because of my deep interest in the subject since high school. The admission process was through Samarth portal. It was smooth and transparent. The minimum eligibility requirement was of 70% in 10+2. There was also a provision for spot admission for talented students. As the College is affiliated to Assam University, the examinations are scheduled as per the University guidelines.

The annual fee for my course was approximately Rs. 16,000/- per year which covers all the academic expenses for the session.

Academically, the College excels. With only 23 students in my batch, we benefitted from focused teaching by four highly qualified faculty members; each specialized in their subject area. Faculty members used whiteboards and markers to simplify complex concepts, which reduced the need for extra tuition. Their friendly and approachable nature, combined with their clarity in teaching, helped us grow both academically and intellectually.

The College infrastructure is impressive and well-maintained. It is a three storey building, repainted annually for its maintenance. The College provides a hygienic environment, a playground for Cricket and Football and other activities. A canteen which serves decent quality food. Library facilities are excellent. And there is also a museum which is still under construction. Also I didn't t use the medical facilities personally so I do not know much about them.

Campus life at Nabin Chandra College Karimganj is vibrant and fulfilling .The campus is ragging-free, which makes it safe and welcoming for students. The seniors are supportive and approachable. The College actively organises sports events, socio-cultural programs, and celebrations of important occasions like Independence Day, etc. These events promote unity and cultural engagement among students. There are student union rooms to address student concerns. Apart from academics, the campus nurtures friendship, leadership, etc. The interaction with classmates, seniors and faculty members has helped me build long lasting memories.
