The Institute is not just any other Institute where you just read what's in the text book. It is one the best educational Institutions in India. You can get great exposure in all areas like practical learning, diversity, industrial specialised faculties, and more. It is the Institute where you can explore the domain that you are interested in. The Institute will stand with you to your success. Factors like flexible system of system, flexibility in credit system, vibrant culture and cultural program made me to choose the Institute.

I have chosen Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA). The Institute has a specialised school called VIT Business School Vellore (VITBS) exclusively for Business and Management students. It is an AACSB accredited Business School. All the facilities are Ph.D holders and industrial persons. The eligibility criterion to enter is to score 85% and above in the 12th Grade. Regular engagement in academics will happen frequently in form of quizzes, internal assessments, and final assessments. Apart from theoretical leaning, the Institute pushes students to explore the real-world applications of the study models.

The fee structure for my course is around Rs. 90,000/- per year. Various scholarships are provided for economically weaker students. Application charge is around Rs. 600/-.

The Institute is equipped with highly qualified faculty members who hold a Ph.Ds and also have a strong industrial background. All the facilities have good commutation skills and they are all multilingual (English, Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam). The mode of teaching will mostly be through PPTs in the classroom and they encourage students to learn in-depth about their subject. They also suggest various books and websites that can be of use to us. Most of the classes have interactive discussions apart from a regular reading of the PPTS. They not only teach you but also guide you with the right path. Everyone is very friendly and too supportive.

The Institute has the Career Development Centre with centralised placement process in the campus. Almost 200+ companies visit the Institute every year. The Institute supports and pushes students to achieve the highest placement package possible by giving intense placement trainings. The minimum placement package will be around 2 LPA and the maximum can go up to 1 Crore Per Annum. You'll get an average CTC of 12 LPA.

As from my personal experience it is one of the best Hostel experiences you can ever get. There are rooms on multiple occupancies including 6, 4, 2, and 1 sharing rooms with AC and non-AC room options. There are around 18 hostel blocks of males. Also each block has 3 different mess serving vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals. Students have an option to change the mess. Food provided here is good, hygienic and rich in nutrition. Also there is paid mess and night mess option available where you can pay and eat. The rules are pretty flexible. The in time for the hostel is 8:30 PM. You have free laundry, salon and spa, cafes, play zones for every game, parks, and more facilities.

VITBS Vellore is a massive Institute with an area of around 370+ acres. The Institute has almost 9 academic blocks. Every block is an infrastructural marvel not just for saying, they actually are. Every block has high-tech labs, amenities like lifts, cafeteria, lounges, study areas, etc. Also the nature and calmness you find in the campus are literally the best. The sun sets and sun rise are blissful. The Institute has a large library with numerous books and which are updated frequently as per the curriculum. There are facilities like hospital inside the campus, and security is also top-notch. Each place is covered with CCTV and personal security.

The overall campus life is vibrant. The Institute has around 45,000 students on campus. The Institute encourages students to engage in club activities. It has around 100+ clubs and chapters. The Institute also hosts ‘GraVITas’ (Institute's biggest tech fest) and ‘Riviera’ (Institute's biggest cultural fest). Rivera is a most beautiful 4 days in the Institute life. The campus is very liberal. Student can roam around in the campus and outside as much as they want.
