MU Rajkot highest package is upto 12 LPA to 15 LPA

My personal University experience is one of the best experiences of my life. I'm very impressed by the infrastructure of the University; seeing the class and lab facilities mesmerized me. I was so amazed by the University's International culture, which welcomes students from different states and countries, accommodating a diverse crowd in the University. Additionally, the fee structure is very decent. Discipline is given a priority at the University, you cannot bunk classes, and irregularity is not tolerated here. Assignments and labs should be completed from time to time. Rather than academic, you can be part of dozens of clubs here for grooming and relaxation of your mind.

I have chosen the Computer Science, which in today's world is a booming field. For this field, you need a very advanced, constantly revised, and updated syllabus, which is where Marwadi University Rajkot stands out. Because here courses are revised every year. The admission process is also very smooth, within 3 to 4 hours I got my ID card and other necessary things. The University offers ample practical exposure.

The year-wise fee structure is different for my batch, which is 2022; my tuition fee was around Rs. 49,000/- with about Rs. 15000/- charged as safety deposit, which is refunded after completion of the degree. Also, other miscellaneous fee you have to pay is of approximately Rs. 7000/-which covers for a bag, ID card, and 3 t-shirts. But in 2025, the tuition fee has been increased to around Rs. 75,000/-. Also, students can easily apply for Government scholarships here.

The faculty here is one of the finest in the area. There are around 50 teachers for our department and 10 of them are Ph.D holder, while others have had their masters’ degree from renowned Institutions. Some of them even hold 10+ years of industry experience. Also, here each faculty member conducts research work and thesis collaboration with final and pre-final year students. They take extra-classes for students who have been left behind and have scored less in mid-semesters. They also give us proper guidance. The method of teaching here is the traditional blackboard method combined with active group discussions. Also, my experience with the faculty members was very amazing, as I'm always attentive in class. You are also assigned with a mentor to assist you in times of need.

The University is famous for its placement. We have a proper placement cell that starts to works on us from the 3rd year itself and also assists students for internships. The background of companies visiting for recruitments is checked. Students receive mails from the University for the companies visiting and students can apply for the same if interested through University's own ERP website, where it automatically shows if you are eligible or not. Infosys, Flipkart, Capgemini, TCS, Adani, Reliance, and many more well-renowned companies come for recruiting. Here the average package is 3 LPA to 5 LPA, and the highest goes up to 12 LPA to 15 LPA.

Yes, the University has very wide hostel facilities on-campus itself. It has 4 hostels, accommodating 4000+ students, and now they are expanding to acquire more than 10 hostels outside where students can stay. The mess food is nutritious and tasty. It is made in Gujarati style, so it might take time for outstation students to adjust, but eventually you will develop a liking for the food. Hostel fees depend on which kind of room you are taking, but roughly it starts from around Rs. 70,000/-. There are very strict rules about hostel timings, and to go outside of the campus, you would need the permission of your parents. My personal experience was so good, and it was the most unforgettable experience I have had.

Infrastructure is one of my favorite parts of the University because it is too good. There is a beautiful lake and you can go and sit nearby it which is a joyful experience. Here are 7 main buildings- Hostel A, B, C, and D; and then the Law building for the Commerce and Law department; the PG building for the admission process, placement cell, and auditorium; and last and the biggest of all is the Main building, which has two wings, A and B. There are codes from which you can comprehend the location of the block, for example, MB205 indicates the Main building’s B wing class 205. The classrooms have a capacity of 70 students with AC facilities and projector for presentations. Here total 2 libraries are there; one in on the ground floor of the Main building, which is a two-floored library with many books and 10+ PCs for e-books. Above there is a reference library where you can read books and do your own work. The facility of supercomputer access for research purposes is also given. There are a total of 5 seminar halls in the University, which include the auditorium and conference hall. Also, on-campus there are 10+ canteens to enjoy meals and spend time with friends. Medical facility is also provided. There are 3 grounds in the University. This infrastructure is fascinating and offers a peaceful learning environment.

Overall, the campus life at Marwadi University Rajkot is worthwhile. There are 40+ clubs for your upbringing and overall development, which are led by the faculty itself and the committee they have created. I am in Literary club which is in association with the MU Art club. Events are held very frequently; also, once a year MU fest is held, where more than 150 events take place with a night of fashion shows and concerts, it is a blissful experience and some fee for the events is charged too.
