RPS Degree College Mahendragarh: A Center of Quality Education

Overall Rating
My overall experience was superb in RPS Degree College Mahendragarh. Safe and secure environment was provided to students for studying. Overall, the environment was very strict but it kept me very focused. Most importantly, the faculty members were friendly in nature and they support the students every time, be it academics or other concerns. I like the College for various reasons, and one of the most important is how studying here makes me feel close to my school life. The exams are taken timely with exams schedule getting released beforehand giving us ample time to prepare.
 

Academics Rating
The best thing about B.Com course was that students from any stream can take admission after passing 12th Standard. After results are released, students can visit the College, get their documents verified, and pay the first installment of approximately Rs. 10,000/- to confirm their admission. There are 6 exams conducted in 3 years.
My fee was around Rs. 34,500/- per year without exams fees. I got a scholarship of Rs. 10,000/- in the first year since I had 94% in 10+2. If you have got more than 80% in Class 12th, then financial aids will be provided by the College. Bus charges depend on the route. For me, it was around Rs. 8000/-.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty members of my course were experienced and well-behaved. Most of them are Ph.D scholars and had in-depth knowledge of their subjects like Accounting, Business, Statistics, Tax, etc. My experience was superb with the entire faculty from the first semester itself to the end of my course. There were also provisions taken for online classes during COVID-19. They give tasks to present topics in the classrooms, which helps students to overcome their public speaking fear and get them to become more confident. There is ample focus given to both theoretical and practical aspects of the subjects taught.
 

Placement Rating
The College can improve in terms of providing placements to students of my course. Placements are mostly conducted for B.Tech students at the College.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, the College provides hostel facility to students. There are very strict rules which are to be followed by the students but I didn't stay in hostel because I lived in proximity to the College. As per my friends, the food quality served by the mess could be improved. The rooms are nice and there are entry and exit restrictions for all the residents of the hostel. Students have to be back to their allotted rooms by 9 PM sharp.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Campus size was large and was located in a rural area. The College provides the students with various facilities like library, seminar hall, dispensary as well as canteen and transport facility. The infrastructural facilities provided by the College were sufficient to support all the academic and non-academic requirements of students studying on-campus.
 

Campus Rating
Many festivals and functions like annual function are conducted by RPS Degree College Mahendragarh to keep the campus life of students engaging and fun. Inter-College competitions were also organised in my College along with many sports activities which I enjoyed very much. All the College students used to gather together making it a very vibrant and lively experience for all. The relationships that all the students shared were also healthy. All the seniors were also very helpful creating a great overall environment in the College premises.
