GCE Gaya Accepts JEE Main score for admission in B.Tech

This is one of the best Colleges. I chose this College because of its infrastructure and it is close to my district. It provides various facilities to the students such as playground, etc. and the placements of this College are also good. One of the major challenges which I face that the College is situated in remote area. Overall, my experience in this College was good.

I chose B.Tech in Civil Engineering in GCE Gaya. I chose this course because this course is in demand. For admission, the students have to appear for JEE Main exam after class 12th. According to the marks obtained in the exam, the students will get admission in this College. The academic of this College is average.

The admission fee including registration fee in GCE Gaya is Rs. 2,200/-. The students also have to pay the examination fee every semester which is Rs. 3200/- per semester. The College also provide discount to the students who belong to SC/ST categories. The State Government provides student credit card facilities for financially week students’ which is up to Rs. 4,00,000/- and Government also provide post metric scholarship every year.

The faculty members of my department are very experienced and well qualified in their respective subjects. All faculties have done M.Tech or Ph.D. The teaching methods include smart board, blackboard, PPTs, etc. There are 8 to10 faculty members in each branch. All teachers are cooperative in project & training. Overall, the teachers of this College are good and helpful.

Yes, the College has placement cell. It helps every student in getting internship and placement. The cell conducts seminar every week and teach students how to prepare for the interview. Various companies visit our campus such as TCS, Wipro, HCL, DRDO, etc. The average package offered by all the companies is approx 4LPA and the highest as 12 LPA. I got placed from this College only. There are 3 rounds to get placement such as online test, group discussion, and interview.

The College provides separate hostel facilities to both girls and boys. There are around 5 hostels for boys and 2 for girls. The hostels are available in different occupancies such as single room, double room, and triple sharing room. The rooms got allotted on CGPA basis. Almost all the students stay in the hostels. The mess provides 4 time meal system that is breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner. Hostel fee is Rs. 30,000/- per semester and the hostel gate get closed at 9 PM, so everyone has to come before that. Overall, the hostels are good because it offers various facilities such as water coolers, single bed rooms, playground, TV room, Wi-Fi, common room etc.

The campus of GCE Gaya is spread over 80 acres. The campus has separate blocks such as academic block, hostel block, faculties block, principal block etc. A bank is also there in the College called Dakshin Bihar Gramin Bank with ATM facilities. The classrooms are comfortable and equipped with projectors, blackboard, benches, etc. The campus has a library, seminar hall, conference hall, auditorium, etc. The canteen and sports facilities like playground, Volleyball ground, Badminton court, etc. The security guards and CCTV are present at the main gate of the College.

Overall my campus life was good in this College. The campus does not have huge crowd. There are various clubs such as Photography club, Singing club, Drama club, Sports club, etc. for the students. I was part of the Sports club. The College organise fest such as Science Tech fest every year. It also organise Fresher’s party and Farewell for the juniors & seniors. Overall, I had a great experience in this College.
