Overall Rating
Gaya College of Engineering has good lab facilities, hostels, classrooms, mess, etc. The experience of studying here is really awesome and enthusiastic. We get Internship opportunitiy also in 6th or 7th semester. In our college, placements are good. It is located at the outskirts of Bihar State Highway-4 Shrikrishnanagar (Near Nau Mile).
 

Academics Rating
I chose Mechanical branch, as I am interested in Car and Graphic Designing. You are eligible to get admission in this college if you score more than 60 percentile in JEE Main exam. You can get admission by Bihar UGEAC counselling or by giving BCECEB exam and further going through counselling. They are so strict about attendance. Minimum 75% attendance is strictly mandatory.
Fee structure is around Rs. 3,18,120/-. Yearly, you have to pay Rs. 79,530/-. Reservation quota i.e., fee remission is available for the special category students.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty members are intellectual and help students in their assignments & projects. Their method of teaching includes blackboard, PPTs, group discussion, etc. The problem solving abilities of professors are awesome. Teacher to student ratio is good and students are divided into groups to have an opportunity to do lab works. Faculties are so supportive to students they also help students after their lecture any time in their office.
 

Placement Rating
At the College, a Taining & Placement Cell is there. The highest package offered is 6 LPA. The lowest package offered is 2 LPA, and average package offered is 3 LPA. There is a Startup Cell in our college, which helps students in their startup Ideas.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostels facilities are good. Mess menu is up to the mark. Hostel is equipped with one table, chair, fan, bed, etc.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus is full of greenery as there are many plants. Infrastructure is not up to the mark. Overall, there are academic buildings, lab, and workshop buildings. Sports ground and sports facilities are average. The college is spread in 87-acre land. Academic building is well designed with proper labs, classrooms, and library. Library has well stacked with the collection of books, which is needed for technical students.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life at the Gaya College of Engineering is good as campus is covered with greenery. Clubs are available for students to join. Moreover, the events are conducted and all the festivals are celebrated.

    Gaya as we all know is famous for ‘Land of Buddha’. Getting admission there didn’t go down well with my parents initially but soon they agreed. The best part about Gaya Engineering College accepts IIT JEE score and that is how I got the admission. After missing out on incumbent IITs getting admission in this college was indeed a sigh of relief for me.
