First of all I have chosen SNSCE Coimbatore for reason that this is first institution to implement design thinking curriculum. Everything including projects main task is to clear all the design thinking aspects. This institution has the 5 pillars that including the center for learning and teaching, skill and career development, center for creativity, industry Institute partnership cell and social responsibility initiatives. All the students should finish the tasks that under these pillars monthly activities and monitor by the students mentor to guide the students to finish the task. This college innovation trust areas are the agricultural and food technology, health care, energy, aerospace and defense. This college notable achievements are interacted with 1169 number of industry experts, 1278 students industry projects, 3 foreign university tie up and collaboration, 21 lakhs seed fund from SNS trust for project and research, 92 books published, 4247 research publications, 43 students clubs, 19 start ups, 60 patents published, 35 lakhs consultancy amount, 4.2 crore SNS scholarships offered, 250 awards by faculty members, 2919 students attended internships. I have noted there are 252 companies that came for this college and the placement count is 1355 in 2019. So after analysing these data and I have trust to join in this college in 2019. It is pretty good to have knowledge about the emerging technologies in this college.

I have chosen Electronics and communication engineering to explore my knowledge towards the industry. The fee structure for this course is Rs. 65,000 for 1 year in 2019 but it is increased to Rs. 95,000 nowadays. In this course we can get knowledge about the core subjects as well as the information technology. We can attend both the core and information technology industry placement hiring interview. So the actual placement trust percentage is increased 20% in this course. Only you have to gain the knowledge and enhance that for the emerging technologies. This course having the limited cut off to join in this stream. You have to achieve the good cut off to take this course. There are specifically 4 labs for students enhance the subject knowledge and gain the practical experience in the subjects. You can use these labs for the semester laboratory exams. The placement count also good in this department. You can surely take this course for getting a good job.

In SNS College of Engineering mostly all the staff are not harshly treating the students. You can study in this college independently in class. Faculties are friendly treating the students and also guide the students in a good way. The head of the department also guide the students in a good way. Every year the faculty advisor for the class is change accordingly in this college. So you can get experience with all the staff potential to guide you in a good way. In my industrial visit the faculties guided us in enjoyable way to get the experience about the industry as well as the tour experience. We can ask doubt about the subject to the staff in the class and they don't hesitate to answer you and clear the doubt.

The placement is pretty good in SNSCE Coimbatore. The total placement count is 1064 in 2017, 899 in 2018, 1355 in 2019 that is why I have chosen this college. There are 38% Information technology companies are came here to hiring students. In the starting of 7th semester you have the placement drive special classes to clear the interview. In those classes you have the class about the strategies that helping you to clear the multi choice questions in the first round in the requirement process. You can get the knowledge about the java, c++, c which want to learn. Also so many mock interview that faculties assigned and you have to clear the mock interview. In my batch 100% placement that achieved in this department.

Hostel facilities are average. Hostel food is also average and the menu for the everyday also average. Only Sunday you will have the non vegetarian food items are available in this hostel otherwise you don’t. Fee structure of hostel is 40000 per year.

This college has good infrastructure and facilities. You have Wi-Fi facility around the campus. There is Spine block which used for high class gym, sports, swimming pool facilities. There are 4 grounds for sports like volleyball, basketball, running, football, kabaddi and khokho. You have blocks that specifically for the courses. In this college you have nursing and pharmacy blocks in this college. The food court facility is very good in this college. In the food court you have so many good menu and hygiene food available. Both vegetarian and non vegetarian foods are available in food court. It has so many statues in the lawn area and maintaining level is good for the cleaning aspects.

In the college you can do the extracurricular activities which you want to enhance your talents. Fine club is very active to enhance your talents. You have so many opportunities to enhance your talents. You will have so many stage performances to improve your talents. Also so many clubs that doing more technical events to enhance your industry knowledge. Every month there 4 to 5 big events are conducted by the institutions. Mostly big celebrities come as the chief guest to make the event more beautiful and memorable moments. Every year you have industry visit to explore and also getting the industry experience. All the big fests like Pongal celebration, Christmas celebration are having so many fun activities that make the celebration more interesting. You have cash price in specific competitions like dance competition, sports competition, singing competition and projects. You can get more memories to cherish in your life with these fun events. If you want start a start up you can get the permission to do in this college. Parking area is very good and it has the surveillance cameras for the security aspects. In your final semester you have to do 1 capstone project so that you can increase you credit points. That will increase your overall credit points in this course. So you can definitely have the beautiful campus life in this college.
