My Point of View on MMIT Pune

Overall Rating
MMIT Pune comes under Savitribai Phule Pune University. I got this Institute after I have completed my Diploma; I got direct admission in the second year. This Institute is a good choice, if students want to learn and grow. I chose this Institute because it has good infrastructure. Overall, it is a good Institute.
 

Academics Rating
I have enrolled in B.E course and my branch is Artificial Intelligence & Data Science. I chose this branch because there is good scope in future. For admission, the students have to give MHTCET or JEE exam. For lateral entry, diploma marks are considered. Spot admissions are also available. The unit test is conducted for practice. The academic enhanced my skills such as management, problem solving skills, etc.
The fee of my course is Rs. 88,000/- per year for students of open category and the fee varies for the students who belong to SC/ST category. The Institute also provides scholarship to the students. The tuition fee is Rs. 76,000/- and the development fee is Rs. 10,000/-. The girl students don’t have to pay any tuition fee. Student can also avail financial aid from scholarship named Rajarshi Shahu Maharaj Shikshan Shulkh Shishyavrutti Scheme
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members are very supportive in nature. They have a good educational background and are very kind to the students. The teaching methods include PPTs, blackboard, etc. Mostly they use PPT method. They solve all the problems faced by the students and then assign task to the students. The faculty members have 5 to 10 years of experience in their respective field. The faculty does not hesitate to solve the problems of the students.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, the MMIT Pune has placement cell with decent placement record. The cell conducts pre-placement practices for the students. They conduct various tests and use assessment sheet to track student’s progress. Various companies visit our campus such as Amazon, Cognizant, L&T, etc.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, the Institute provides hostel facilities to the students. There are around 200 rooms in the hostel. The mess is also available. The hostel fee is around Rs. 80,000/-. The rules of the hostel are strict and the students have to enter the hostel premises by 9:00 PM.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus of MMIT Pune is so big. There are various buildings for Engineering and the department of Physiotherapy is there too. The campus has library, ground, etc. The classroom has the capacity to accommodate around 70 students. The Institute also has canteen, seminar hall, and it offers transportation facilities as well. My favorite thing to do in the Institute is reading books in the library and I also like to play Cricket in the ground.
 

Campus Rating
My overall campus life till now is excellent. The campus crowd is helpful and supportive. There are various clubs such as AI/ML club, AISA club, IEEE club, etc. I am a part of AISA committee and I am working as a volunteer. The Institute organsie various fests and events such as Technical fest, Fresher’s party, and Farewell party. The Institute conducts a Cultural fest called 'Anubhuti' which involves various sports and cultural competitions. I enjoy a lot in these events.
