Overall Rating
Isabella Thoburn Degree College, Lucknow is very good. I'm from Commerce department so professors and teachers are very supportive. They teach really very well. My department is very good. In my College fests and many more activities for students are held. Students do not get bored here. They get to enjoy their College time. The faculty of our college is very friendly. The College is old but very spacious and big. My friend’s mother also studied from this college and she is studying
here as well.
 

Academics Rating
I chose Bachelor of Commerce because my 12th was from Commerce only. I enjoy my studies. My subjects are those which everyone should know like GST, Income Tax, and Business Finance. B.Com is very interesting. We do not get bored at all. Academics prepare us for real life as teachers tell us stories of struggles. They really inspire us a lot. For entering this College u should have completed 12th grade and taken the entrance exam.
There is an entrance feet. Options of self financing and regular are available for the fee structure. The fee for self finance is Rs. 27,000/- per year and for regular it is Rs. 21,000/-.
 

Faculty Rating
My department's faculty is very good and supportive. Their method of teaching is very nice. They discuss everything with the students. They use blackboards and smart boards. The ratio of teachers is 1:30. Like for every 30 students 1 teacher is there. Our bonding with teachers is good. They are like our friends when needed and maintain strictness in the class. The problem solving abilities of the faculties is very good. They never say no to our questions however we cannot ask them any time.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, there is a placement cell in our College. Many students got placement from it.
 

Hostel Rating
I don't live in the hostel. But through my friends who use hostel facilities I know that the food served in the hostel is good and made neatly.
 

Infrastructure Rating
At Isabelle Thoburn Degree College, every block is different. The Commerce department is white in colour. It is very neat and clean. The seats in the classes are also good. In the College, library is also there which has a separate building. Many books are there. Anyone can come and read the books in their free time. Facilities of auditorium, labs, seminar hall are there. Canteen is also good. My favourite place is beside canteen that is very relaxing.
 

Campus Rating
My College life is pretty great. Since it’s only girls College, all the girls are very helpful. The environment is also very good. Annual fests and other events are also organised. Christmas is celebrated every year as it is a Christian College. My experience here is going good so far. In a fest held previous year I got a chance to make stall of sarees at reasonable prices. Lots of students purchased from us. I will definitely recommend my friends to study there.

    I am pursuing BA from IT college that is affiliated to Lucknow University. The facilities provided by the college are not up to the mark at present time. There is no 75% attendance criterion in my college. BA department of my college does not provide air-conditioned classrooms.     I had a great experience at this ITDC Lucknow; I have learnt a lot of things here. The most fascinating thing about my College is its infrastructure and the beautiful garden it has. And I personally like the science lab as it has all the necessary facilities and equipment required. Only the chemistry lab requires a little attention regarding the ventilation as it gets really hot during summers. Canteen food is nice.
