MPUAT Udaipur is a Good University For Engineering

Overall Rating
My overall experience in this University till now is very good and the campus life is good as well. I chose this University because it is one of the top Engineering Universities in Rajasthan. It is different from other Universities because the academics and the placements here are good. The University offers various specailisation programs such as Civil, Mechanical, Computer Science, Mining, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, etc. Overall, MPUAT Udaipur is a good University.
 

Academics Rating
I chose B.Tech in Agriculture Engineering. My motive behind choosing this course is that I want to become a Government junior Engineer. The eligibility criteria at this University, the students must have their class 12th boards with PCM and score at least 40%. The students also have to qualify JEE Main. The academics prepare us very well.
The student has to pay the fee semester wise. The fee per semester is Rs. 17,000/-. The students also have to pay the examination fee which of Rs. 1300/- per semester.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members of this University have good educational background. The method of teaching includes smart boards, blackboards, PPTs, etc. The problem solving abilities of the faculty is good and the teacher to student ratio at the University is 20:80. My experience and bonding with the faculty is very good. The teachers are very approachable and helpful. Some of the faculty is guest faculty.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, MPUAT Udaipur offers separate residential facilities to both male and female students. In the first year hostels, around 80 rooms were there. The mess food is not up to the mark and the hostel gates closes at 7:00 PM. The hostel fee is around Rs. 60,000/-.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus is spread over 100 acres of land. The campus has good academic block. There is separate building for different branches and the structure is very good. The campus provides various academic facilities such as library, lab, seminar hall, auditorium, conference hall, etc. The campus has canteen which is very good and provides variety of food. The campus has 3 to 4 grounds for playing various sports. The campus is well equipped with cameras to maintain 24-hour security.
 

Campus Rating
Overall campus life till now is good. There are many clubs here like Dance club, Music club, etc. I am not a part of any club. In Electrical departments various programs are conducted such as Garba, Navratri, etc. I wish in future the University organise more fests and events.

    I Prefer to join state government college because of extra time to do something else and because of I am from rajasthan so I prefere to chose this college in my college core branches give more importans than tech branch so the placement in core branch has higher than tech branch and most of the student come on the basic of merit and has good campus life , good sports activity...
