MPUAT Udaipur: About Admission, Fees & Campus Life

Overall Rating
I Prefer to join state government college because of extra time to do something else and because of I am from rajasthan so I prefere to chose this college in my college core branches give more importans than tech branch so the placement in core branch has higher than tech branch and most of the student come on the basic of merit and has good campus life , good sports activity
 

Academics Rating
I have an interest in automobile which is I chose Mechanical Engineering. For taking admission in Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology, Udaipur, you have to give JEE Exam and must participate in REAP counseling. University also give admission in SPOT round the seat left from REAP round. In each semester, there is two exam first midterm and other is end sem. Exam are easy.
You have pay according your seat live SFS, GFS, and TWS. For SFS students, fee is Rs. 70,000/- in a year. For first semester, you have to pay around Rs. 45,000/-.
 

Faculty Rating
Most of the faculty members are guest faculty members in the first year. Faculty members are average in teaching. All the faculties are PhD holder.
 

Placement Rating
Placements in the core branches are good, while most of the tech branch students prefer off-campus placements. In my branch, the highest package is 12 LPA, and the average package is 6 LPA. It also has 100% placements. Most of the recruiting companies for our course are Vedanta, Hindustan Zinc, Hero Honda, JK Lakshmi Cement, etc.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostel facilities are good for third year and final year students. However, for second year and first year hostel students, the amenities are not up to the mark. Wi-Fi is available in hostels.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The university is situated in Udaipur, which is the best city to live in because it is a tourist area and has a good climate. Our university infrastructure is average as the university is quite old. It has 435 acres of campus. Labs are in proper condition. First-year classes are held in the basic Science department. The library is also available. All sports facilities are available. All the classes are well equipped with smart board.
 

Campus Rating
Overall, campus life is good and there are some societies. Some events are organized in different basis. NCC, NSS, and other clubs are available for first year students. It also organizes several sports events.
