Overall Rating
Sathya Degree and PG College is located in Thotapalem in Vizianagaram district. The main factor to choose this college is the faculty and the environment. The college is good in study culture. The college offers NCC Unit also. The labs are also good.
 

Academics Rating
I chose B.Sc in Chemistry. The major subject is Chemistry and the minor is Computer Science. The students who are passed out 12th class with 50% marks are eligible. The admission process is so simple. Student directly gets admission into the college offline or AP government conducts counseling for the students who are willing to do graduation. The course is of 3 years duration. For each year, there is 2 semesters and for each semester there are 2 midst frequently.
The fee structure per was Rs. 23,000/- per year. There is no addition of fee structure. For special category students, there is a 20% discount. In addition, the government will give the scholarship like Jagannana Vidya Deevena (JVD).
 

Faculty Rating
Coming to faculty, all are qualified with post-graduation. In addition, their teaching skills are very exceptional. They are always willing to give more knowledge to students. Some use blackboard, some use PowerPoint presentations, and some faculty conduct group discussions to increase interaction with students. All teach very well. In addition, they deliver the lectures very well, they build a friendly culture with students, and the teachers solve the real time examples for every problem.
 

Placement Rating
In addition, there is a placement cell for placements. Degree students are placed in some it companies. The average package is nearly 2-3 LPA. They conduct CRT classes for students. Presently, I am in 2nd year, so we are not allowed to apply for placements but we did some internship.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There are nearly 4 to 5 blocks in this college. The campus is in nearly 10 acres with a playground. The classrooms are very hygienic and well equipped. For practicals, we have labs with well equipment. We have seminar hall for seminars and conference halls also.
 

Campus Rating
The overall campus is good. The teaching and non-teaching staff is very friendly. However, there is no clubs for this college so I am not any part of the clubs. There are some curricular activities like hackathons and we have fresher for 1st year and farewell for final year students and annual day for whole college. Every day, evening for NCC Unit students, there is a parade and they play sports.
