Being a Freshmen at AIET Bangalore

Overall Rating
This Institute is average. It offers various facilities to the students which helps them study well. The labs are equipped with modern equipments. The Institute is well maintained. This Institute maintains a balance between the academics and the extracurricular activities. I would recommend others to take admission in this Institute.
 

Academics Rating
The syllabus of my course is up to date. For admission, the students have to qualify KCET & COMEDK and score good marks in it. The students can also take direct admission in this Institute. The exams are conducted according to the VTU rules and calendar. Overall, the academics are average.
The fee for the students who got admission through management quota is Rs. 3,25,000/- in the first year. From the 2nd year, the fee is Rs. 1,75,000/-. The fee includes all the charges such as admission fee, registration fee, etc. The fee for the uniform and books in the 1st year is around Rs. 14,500/-. The Institute does not provide any special discount to the students. The students can avail the Government scholarships.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members of AIET Bangalore are average. The teaching methods include smart board, etc. The problem solving abilities of the teachers are good and some of the teachers are really good. The Institute is hiring more teachers to teach the students. Overall, the teachers help the students and solve their problems.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, the Institute has placement cell. The cell promised the students that they will provide good placements to the students. Various companies visit our campus such as IBM, Microsoft, Amazon, etc.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, AIET Bangalore offers residential facilities to the students. The hostels can accommodate more than 300 students. The students are required to enter the hostel by 9:00 PM. The hostel fee is around Rs. 1,50,000/- and if they want non vegetarian food then the students have to pay the extra charges for the same.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure of the campus is good and it is well maintain. The campus is spread over 30 acres of land. The campus has digital library, auditorium, seminar hall, etc. The Institute offers various sports facilities for games like Football, Tennis, Basketball, etc. It also provides transportation & medical facilities to the students. The canteen is also available which offers good food to the students. The security is also present at the Institute campus.
 

Campus Rating
My overall campus life till now is good. The campus is not that crowded. There are various clubs which conduct different extracurricular activities for the students. The Institute conducts various fests and events, it organise a biggest fest named ‘Akashotsav’. AIET Bangalore also organise various sports and cultural events.
