CBPBU Cooch Behar Provides Hostel Facilities to the Students

Overall Rating
I chose CBPBU Cooch Behar because it is near to my house. I heard that this University is good for my course. This University is good and offers various campus facilities to the students. The faculty here is highly qualified. The University was established in 2012.
 

Academics Rating
Basically, I was very interested in Physics so that is why I chose M.Sc. For admission, the students have to complete his Bachelor degree first. The students can take admission through the University admission portal. You have to apply online and the admission is on the basis of the merit list. The course contains 4 semesters. One semester is of 6 months. The syllabus is as per the industry trends.
The fee of this University is pretty low. You just have to pay Rs. 1950/- per semester. The students can also avail Swami Vivekananda scholarship. The students of the reserved category can avail Aikyashree scholarship.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members of CBPBU Cooch Behar are well educated. The teachers have done Ph.D and some of them also have done Doctorate level of education. They are very experienced. One of the teachers also has taught in the foreign country. One of the professor got Siksha Ratna Award from the Government of West Bengal. I am glad that a renowned Scientist teaches us. They often conduct some group discussion on various interesting topics. They are also very serious about the competitive exams.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, the University has placement cell. The packages offered are not up to the mark. Several companies like HDFC Bank, Axis Bank, SBI, etc. The students prepare well for securing good jobs.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, the University offers hostel facilities to the students. There are 3 hostels named 2 Mansai & 1 Torsha. The mess food is pretty good. Security guard is always present at the hostel gates. The CCTV cameras are also there for the safety purposes.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The University is not that huge. The classrooms are also not that huge. The campus has laboratory which is well equipped with necessary equipment. A new building is under construction right now. The library is also there which has fewer books. The canteen is available in the University campus which offers snacks and Bengali food. My favorite thing in this University is to talk a long walk in the campus.
 

Campus Rating
My Campus life in this University is pretty good. We get to interact with the students who belong from different states. The crowd is very friendly. The University conducts fests and events for the students.
