GLIM Gurgaon: My Views About Aspects

Overall Rating
Joining GLIM Gurgaon is one of the best decision, I have ever made. I always wanted to study in a good B-school and this Institute is really good. The environment here is so positive and good for studies, You will get to meet so many new people and they are very helping as well. This Institute will help you built your confidence and will make you strong as well. Overall, I would say that this Institute is a place where you will grow a lot as a person.
 

Academics Rating
Academics of this Institute are really great. It is not only based on theories but also provide practical exposure to the students. You can choose electives as per your interest. The subjects are not theory based but they more based on case studies. The trimester system is a bit fast but you will get used to it. The students can take admission through CAT, XAT, and CMAT. After that, you have to appear in the interview. Overall, the academics are good.
The total fee of PGDM is around Rs. 2,00,000/-. This fee include all the other charges.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties are honestly amazing. Most of them have industrial experience of 10 to 20 years. They teach us in a very simple and practical way. Some professors are super chill and friendly as well. You can approach them whenever you want. They also share their real life experience. They are very supportive and provide good mentorship to the students. They give us a lot of assignments and presentations which will build your teamwork skills.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, the Institute has placement cell. The placements are good to be honest. The team really works hard and brings really good companies which provide us good internships and placements. They also conduct mock interviews; resume review sessions, and workshops. Almost every student will get placed if they put efforts. We also have CRP classes where the CCS team prepares the students for the placements.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, GLIM Gurgaon offers accommodation facilities to the students. Mostly the rooms are available in double occupancy with adequate facilities such as wardrobe, table, etc. The hostel also provides Wi-Fi facilities to the students. The rooms are spacious and clean. The mess is available which serves tasty food.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus is surrounded with greenery and is so peaceful. The infrastructure of this Institute is modern. The campus has smart classrooms, library, gym, sports area, cafeteria, etc. The digital library is also available for the students. All the things are available near the Institute.
 

Campus Rating
My campus life is going good. There are so many clubs and committees which you can join such as Marketing club, HR club, Finance club, Sports club, etc. You will learn a lot while working. The Institute organise various fests, events, and competitions. You will get to build your network. I have made various memories which will stay with me forever.

  • GLIM is mainly for IT students

    Everything is good about Great Lakes Institute of Management but just the fact that they have made the course to accommodate engineers more. A percentile of 85-86 is required to go for the next rounds at Gurgaon campus and over 90 for the Chennai campus. The most annoying thing was that for GD and PI rounds enrolment we had to pay a fee.
