The Teachers of KSCJ Kohima are Highly Educated

Overall Rating
I am having a pleasant experience here. The infrastructure is good and it is improving day by day. The College has one of the best alumni network. The teachers are also good. The fee is also affordable for all the students. The students studying here does not involve in ragging and other illegal activities. There is a healthy balance between academics and social activities.
 

Academics Rating
The College is affiliated to Gauhati University (GU)Guwahati. I chose B.Tech in Computer Science. If you want to take admission in this College then you have to qualify an entrance exam. You can also take direct admission here. The admission process is quite straightforward and the staffs are really helpful as well. The exams are conducted semester wise. In a semester, two unit exams are conducted. Each semester consist of around 3 to 4 months. The College also provides holidays to prepare for the exams.
The fee of this College is quite affordable. The fee of the even semesters is around Rs. 9000/- per semester. The fee of the odd semester is around Rs. 4000/- per semester. The students also have to pay the exam fee separately. There are multiple scholarships available for the students. The College also provides discount to the students who belongs to economically weaker section.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members of KSCJ Kohima are best. They are well qualified. In every department, there are Ph.D scholars. They have enough experience in teaching. The teachers are friendly and quite approachable. The ratio between the teachers to student depends on the type of course the students are pursuing. They teach us with the help of blackboards, whiteboards, projectors, etc. They solve all the doubts of the students.
 

Placement Rating
The placement cell is available. Most placement opportunities have to be explored off campus. The cell also provides internship opportunities to the students. The placements are not that much developed. It organise various workshops & events related to the placements for the students where they can do networking.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, the College provides hostel facilities to the students. I am a day scholar but according to my friends the hostels are good. The hostel fee is also affordable.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus of KSCJ Kohima is huge. The College has adequate facilities for the students. There are numerous separate washrooms available for the students. The canteen serves food at the affordable prices. The campus has sports facilities for games like Football, Basketball, Cricket, Table Tennis, etc. The auditorium is huge and has the capacity to accommodate several students at a time. The campus has library which has good collection of books. Along with this, it has separate areas for reading. Transportation facilities are available as well.
 

Campus Rating
My campus life till now is good. The College maintains a balance between the academics and other extracurricular activities. The students are quite friendly e campus life is good for me. The students here are quite friendly. There are various clubs available for the students. The College organise decent events for the students. It conducts an annual fest named 'WinFest' which is held for more than 2 days. The activities are planned by the clubs and the student union. Overall, I am having a great experience here.
