A Law Student's Life at RKDF University Ranchi

Overall Rating
I chose my career option in the field of law because becoming an advocate is my childhood dream. I chose this University because the fee was low. It is also known as Ram Krishna Dharmarth Foundation University Ranchi. It is located in Kathal More, Argora Road, Pundag, Ranchi. It is one of the growing private universities in Jharkhand established in 2018. It offers a variety of undergraduate, postgraduate, and diploma courses across streams like Engineering, Pharmacy, Law, and Humanities.
 

Academics Rating
The University has regular classes, a well-organised curricula, and a positive academic atmosphere. For admission to Law courses, you must have completed 12th grade with at least 45% for B.A.LL.B / BBA.L.LB or a Bachelor's degree with 45% for the 3-year LLB program. The admission process is very simple, candidates can apply online through website, or directly visiting the University office and submitting a completed application form.
Semester wise tuition fee is Rs. 20,000/- & exam fee Rs. 1650/- per semester and one time admission fee Rs. 5000/- that I had paid for my course. I think the program is affordable enough for me to consider seriously, especially compared to many big metro private Law Universities. A variety of scholarships are available from the university to recognize the hard work of deserving students and provide financial support for them to pursue further study. It is applicable for ST, SC, and OBC category candidates.
 

Faculty Rating
Teachers maintain good relation with students and are well qualified & amiable. Many instructors emphasize conceptual understanding. All the faculty members of Law are from National Law University and they are Ph.D holder. Every week, faculty organizes the group discussion and debate competition. They have more than 5 years of teaching experience. They organized legal aid programs and awareness camps.
 

Placement Rating
The University offers placements in Hotel Management with the package of around 12 LPA. Some of the students are placed in top 5 star Hilton hotel in Jaipur and others are in a well-repudiated company.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, RKDF University offers hostel facility for both boys and girls. I did not join the hostel because this is my hometown. But I heard from my friends that the hostel is good and hygiene and rules are quite strict.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus is clean and peaceful. Classroom is spacious & equipped with smart boards in some blocks. The library is well stocked with books, journals, and recent judgments of supreme court with e- resources. Campus provides Wi-Fi, computer labs, with high processing capability, transport buses, canteen / cafeterias, sports grounds, and indoor game facilities are available. There is a moot court where we can develop our practical skills and understand how to work in the court. Seminar hall, auditorium, and different Engineering and Pharmacy labs are available. The canteen food is just so good.
 

Campus Rating
The campus environment of RKDF University is friendly and inclusive The University is completely ragging free environment. The University crowd is good in recent because it is new and growing private university so most of the things are needs to be developed. The University organizes annual festival like food festival and sports event in February. It might not have the extremely high buzz or mega campus features of the top universities in metro but for its region, it offers a respectable student experience and affordable prices. If you go there, you will likely have memories and comfortable campus life.
