My Views on AMCET Kanchipuram

Overall Rating
The infrastructure of my College is great and I really like the campus. I chose this College because of its infrastructure and location. It is located in Chengalpet, Kanchipuram. Here, the ragging is strictly prohibited and if anyone found involving in such activities strict actions will be taken against them. I would recommend others to take admission in this College. It was established in 2002.
 

Academics Rating
I chose B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering in AMCET Kanchipuram. The eligibility criteria are same as other Colleges; the students must have passed their class 12th boards with at least 70%. The College conducts around 3 to 4 exams in a semester. Overall, the academics are good.
The fee is different for the students who got the admission through the management quota and the Government quota. The fee of my course is around Rs. 50,000/- per year. The hostel fee is around Rs. 75,000/- per year. The students who scored above 90% in their class 12th boards, they will get discount in their fee.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members of my department are very friendly and they are very supportive. They have good knowledge in their respective field. They encourage the students to participate in extracurricular activities like dancing, singing, drawing, coding, and many more. So that the students can build their confidence. The teacher to student ratio is 2:6. Overall, the faculty members are very approachable. My bonding with the teachers is really good.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus is spread over 45 acres of land. The classrooms are spacious and fully ventilated. The classroom has the seating capacity around 60 students. The campus has library, canteen, stationary, common hall, auditorium, conference hall, etc. Each department has its own laboratories. The College offers world class sports facilities to the students. The campus is equipped with CCTV cameras for the security purposes.
 

Campus Rating
If I talk about my campus life at AMCET Kanchipuram. It is good till now. The crowd of the campus is average. There are many clubs and I am a part of the Coding club. The management conducts about around 3 fests such as Symposiums and other technical fests. The extracurricular activities like competitions are also conducted.
