Admission in NMREC Hyderabad B.Tech Course is Based on TS EAMCET Marks

I've joined NMREC Hyderabad in 2023. In my second year, I have got a backlog but after that I have not got any backlog till my 4th year. The College conducts LIM classes on regular basis which are mandatory to attend. The students have to maintain a certain percent of attendance. If anyone remains absent from the class then a message will be directly sent to the parents that their ward is absent. So, this College is quite strict about the academics and students career.

The course I've chosen is B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. The reason I have chose this College that I have an interest in it. For admission, the students have to qualify TS EAMCET and score good marks in it. I took the admission through the management quota so I am not aware about the counseling process. The admission process is quite simple. Overall, the academics are good and really help in shaping students career.

The fee of my course in the second year is around Rs. 80,000/-. The fee in the 3rd and 4th year is Rs. 60,000/-. The fee gets increases every year. The College also provides financial aid to the students.

The faculty members at NMREC Hyderabad are good. Some of the teachers have done Ph.D in their respective field. The teaching methods include blackboards, PPTs, projectors, etc. The problem solving abilities of the teachers is average. My bond with the faculty members is also average because I don’t interact with them much. Overall, the teachers are approachable; you can easily communicate to them.

We have a placement cell. The placement officer updates the students about the placement and internship offers. In every branch, there is a placement coordinator which helps the students in securing good placements. As of now, I've attended two interviews. The placements in my course are really good. Various companies visit the campus to hire the students especially the students who are in my course.

Yes, the College offers hostel facilities to both male and female students. I am a day scholar so I don’t have much information about the hostel facilities.

Our campus has 2 academic blocks one for my course and the second one is for MBA. Each building has 4 floors. There are around 40 classrooms in a block which also include labs, staff rooms, etc. We have a library which has around 30,000 books, and other resources. Every department has its own lab. There are 3 seminar halls, canteen, etc. The canteen serves good quality of food to the students. The College also offers sports facilities to the students. There are more than 5 buses available which provide pick up and drop services to the students. The security guards are also present at the campus and any unknown person cannot enter the campus till 4:30 PM. My favorite place is the College campus itself because it is surrounded by lush greenery.

My overall campus life till now is good. Sometimes, I think that I have take admission in a College which has strict rules and regulations but then I realised that it is for our own good. There are around 2000 students studying in this College. There are several clubs such as Dance club, Music club, etc. The College conducts various sports competitions, festivals, tech fest, etc. Programs like annual day, traditional day, etc. is also celebrated.
