My Experience in IFTM University Moradabad

Overall Rating
My reason for choosing IFTM University, Moradabad was very simple. It was because of the fees and the course. I personally researched a lot about my course and Universities when I passed 12th grade. This University became an exception because of their fees according to the course. The infrastructure, the faculty members, the reputation and also the fine placements made me choose this University for my Graduation. The overall review from my side is if you're searching for a University for Engineering in budget, then you can definitely go for it.
 

Academics Rating
I chose B.Tech in CSE for my Graduation and the eligibility criteria here is very simple, You should be 12th pass in Science stream with more than 60% overall & more than 40% in PCM. The behaviour of the people in the admission cell is very nice. Thus, the admission process becomes very simple. Just visit the admission cell and you can talk to the mentor of the particular department directly. Talking about the exams, University takes 3 internal exams out of which 2 are compulsory & one final semester exam. You get to learn and revise a lot during your semester exams.
The fees structure here is really interesting. My yearly fees is Rs. 91,000/- (course fees) and Rs. 10,000/- (annual fees). I get concession according to my 12th percentage and this is the most interesting part. You also get many privileges, including free uniform & free travel.
 

Faculty Rating
I feel like the faculty's behaviour with the students is pretty nice. For academics, the Professors are Ph.D. holders and teach a class of 100 students at a time. Their method of teaching is through chalk and a blackboard. My personal experience with the faculty has always been great; they're really open to questions and problems. They motivate the students really well. They also share their real life experiences and overall the faculty is really nice and friendly.
 

Placement Rating
Placements are not up to the mark, because of the location of the University. Companies do come for Placements, but not MNCs or big companies. You have to find the off- campus Placement, if you want a good package. The average package I remember was of my senior and it was somewhat around 5 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
I had a friend from hostel, and she used to tell me that the hostel is really nice and personally I've also been to the hostel. The food, the warden, and the cleanliness, everything is really appreciable.
 

Infrastructure Rating
According to the fees, you're going to get a huge campus including different blocks, canteen, and grounds. The campus and the infrastructure of IFTM University, Moradabad is very nice. It includes Law, Computer Science, SBM, SOS, Agriculture, Electrical, BCA, Pharmacy departments with elevator at every place. Moreover, there are canteen, huge space for parking, huge grounds, and fields for agriculture, gym, Badminton Court, a ground dedicated for Basketball, Volleyball and Cricket. The overall infrastructure is really good. No complaints from infrastructure.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life is average. There is no fest or concerts as such, but an annual function. And if I have to tell about the crowd, as a student the crowd is good. The extracurricular activities do take place in different departments and remains open for everyone. But for me, personally my campus life was average. I faced issues in adapting to the campus life & its people. If you're thinking to join, you can join all other factors are pretty enough to get admission.
